The H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Two Hands, in 34mm and 28mm
Small and mini case sizes with frosted fumé dials expand the Streamliner’s reach.
H. Moser & Cie.’s Streamliner, launched in 2020, is the brand’s take on a luxury integrated bracelet sports watch with fluid, sculptural lines. Built around the collection’s streamlined case architecture and ergonomic steel bracelet, the collection welcomes a compact 34mm reference and a petite 28mm model, both of these Streamliner Two Hands being powered by automatic movements.

Since its inaugural Flyback Chronograph in 2020, Moser’s handsome Streamliner collection has grown to include straightforward time-only and high-complication references, from centre seconds to perpetual calendars, tourbillons, minute repeaters and skeletonised variants. Until today, the smallest Streamliner was the 39mm Small Seconds, with more complicated models like the Tourbillon coming in at 40mm and the Perpetual Calendar at 42.3mm. Given the collection’s trajectory, the new 34mm is small, but the 28mm is petite, verging on mini.
Unlike so many luxury sports watches on the market with muscular angles, the Streamliner’s sleek aerodynamic lines adapt exceptionally well to the wrist. Sharing the Streamliner’s cushion-shaped case and fluid lines, the 34.2mm model is 9.7mm thick (8.1mm without sapphire crystal), while the mini 28mm reference is just 8.9mm thick (7.5mm without sapphire crystal). Still water-resistant to depths of 120 metres, the steel case and bracelet have been redesigned and redefined to fit perfectly on small and very small wrists. Decorated like most Streamliner cases, the radial brushing on the top bezel and satin finish across much of the case are highlighted with a polished bevel for sharp contrast and light play.

Like Moser’s “Concept” watches, the deliberate obliteration of any superfluous distractions allows the texture and colour of the dial to shine. With no indices, no tracks and no logo, the only elements on the dial of the new models are the Super-LumiNova-coated hour and minute hands. Similar to the frozen dials featured on the Streamliner Flyback Chronograph, the frosted texture is hand-engraved on the brass plate and then enhanced with a gradient lacquer finish, the brand’s signature fumé touch. Translated as “smoked” in French, Moser’s fumé dials display a hypnotic gradient effect that fades from a lighter hue at the centre to a deeper tone at the edges. The 34.2mm model has a silver fumé dial with a frosted texture, while the mini 32mm has a burgundy fumé dial.

Adapted to the new small case sizes, the 34.2mm is powered by the HMC 400 automatic movement, measuring 29.6mm x 3.9mm, with an 18k solid red gold rotor. The 28mm is fitted with the HMC 410 automatic with a smaller 18.7mm movement, but the same slim height of 3.9mm. Both movements beat at 25,200vph, deliver a 60-hour power reserve, and can be admired through the sapphire crystal caseback.
The two new Streamliner Two Hands models share a price of CHF 21,900 (excl. tax). More information at h-moser.com.
