The New Tudor Pelagos FXD Chrono Pink “Giro d’Italia” Cycling
A follow up to the FXD Chrono Cycling Edition, dressed in the colours of the Maglia Rosa.

Two years ago, Tudor announced its entry into the world of cycling, partnering with cycling legend Fabian Cancellara to create the Tudor Pro Cycling Team. As the sole sponsor of the team, Tudor unveiled a special edition Black Bay Chrono, available exclusively to team members. Last year, on the occasion of the Giro d’Italia 2024, Tudor presented its first commercially available cycling-themed watch, the Tudor Pelagos FXD Chrono Cycling Edition, which we were fortunate enough to test for a few days while chasing Cancellara. With the Giro d’Italia 2025 just around the corner (starting May 9th), Tudor presents yet another cycling-themed model, this time a limited edition Pelagos FXD Chrono Pink, with a colour inspired by the Maglia Rosa, or pink jersey, offered to the winner of the race.
Technically speaking, nothing much has changed compared to the original Pelagos FXD Chrono Cycling Edition that we tested in the metal, on two wheels, of course. The new Pelagos FXD Chrono Pink retains everything that made the original and non-limited version special, and adds some touches of pink, which seems to be the trendy colour for Tudor, on the dial and strap. More surprisingly, this version is strictly limited, something quite unusual for the brand.
What we’re looking at is a variation around the FXD theme, a watch part of the Pelagos family, notable due to its fixed lug construction, and that started its life as the watch made for French Marine Nationale divers. What makes the cycling edition and this pink version special is the inclusion of a chronograph within the case – also available with the Alinghi Red Bull Racing theme – with a fixed bezel and a case made of carbon fibre. Not so different from the all-new Black Bay Chrono Carbon 25. The 43mm diameter x 13.2mm thickness case, with its integrated lug modules, is made of black matte-finished carbon composite to bring high resistance and lightness and, as the brand says, “to stand up to the extreme demands of the sport”. The watch has direct-action pushers (no screw-down ones here), making it easy for the rider to operate. The sapphire crystal is framed by a fixed bezel with a 60-minute graduation.
The dial is where most of the differences with the previous editions appear. As a tribute to the Giro, one of the most prestigious Grand Tours in the professional circuit, and the coveted Maglia Rosa, or pink jersey that represents victory at the Giro, Tudor uses pink accents on the otherwise matte black dial. The colour is found on the chronograph counters and the specifically calibrated tachymeter scale on the inner flange. The scale is “wrapped” around the dial in a spiral, allowing the average speeds that cyclists routinely operate at to be read at a glance. Luminescent ceramic composite monobloc applied hour markers complete the display of the Pelagos FXD Chrono Pink.
Under the caseback with specific engravings and the unique number of the watch is the calibre MT5813, a movement derived from the Breitling B01 architecture, modified with a silicon hairspring and COSC chronometry certification. It runs at a 4Hz frequency and stores 70 hours of power reserve. Also unique to this edition, the watch is secured to the wrist with a one-piece black technical fabric strap with matching hardware and a pink stripe in the middle.
A limited edition of 300 pieces, the Tudor Pelagos FXD Chrono Pink will be priced at EUR 5,550. For more details, please visit www.tudorwatch.com.
