The Complex Oris Artelier Calibre 113 with Business Calendar
After the red and fiery Year of the Horse Edition, Oris brings the feature-packed Artelier Calibre 113 back into the permanent collection.
Oris first launched the Artelier Calibre 113 in 2017 as a dressy watch, alongside the brand’s divers and pilot pieces and this movement’s variants, the Calibre 111, the GMT Calibre 114, the Calibre 112 with moon phase and, of course, the base version, the Calibre 110. Powered by the powerful Calibre 113, this Artelier model featured a wealth of information on the dial, including a business calendar, power reserve indicator, and small seconds display. In 2026, this movement made a brief comeback through the Year of the Horse Limited Edition in dark red. Now, Oris brings a redesigned Artelier Calibre 113 back into the collection, powered by the same engine. And all of this is happening not long after Oris launched the refreshed Artelier Complication and Artelier Date 38mm earlier this year.
If the movement sounds familiar, that is because Oris also used the hand-wound Calibre 113 last year in the Big Crown platform. The engine may be shared, but the Artelier version has its own personality. Compared to the Big Crown model, the date moves from 6 o’clock to 9 o’clock, the small seconds display drops the earlier railway-style design for something simpler, and the circular power reserve display becomes an arc-shaped retrograde indicator.
A lot is going on across the dial, but it does not feel overwhelming when keeping time because of how Oris has handled the typography and relaxed spacing. Its softer colours further keep things calm and dressy. You also spot the slightly asymmetrical layout, but it stays subtle enough and gives the dial a little more style. There is a choice between white and green dials, paired with a dark brown cordovan leather strap, while the white dial version is also available on a stainless steel bracelet. This new Artelier watch measures 43mm across, 13.1mm thick, and 50mm lug-to-lug. So yes, this is definitely one of the bigger watches in the current Artelier family. Water resistance is rated at 50 metres, and the steel crown is used to adjust the day, date, and week displays.
Powering the watch is the hand-wound Oris Calibre 113, part of the brand’s robust in-house calibre 100 series launched in 2014 for the brand’s 110th anniversary. Visible through the sapphire caseback, the movement runs at 21,600 vibrations/hour and achieves a substantial 10-day power reserve through a single oversized barrel. It also retains its patented, non-linear power reserve display, giving a more precise reading of the remaining power when reaching the lowest levels of energy.
The new Oris Artelier Calibre 113 has three references: white dial on leather strap, white dial on stainless steel bracelet, and green dial on leather strap, each priced at CHF 6,350. For more information, please visit oris.ch.
