March LA.B’s New “Millesime March 2025” is a Compact AM2 Titanium GMT
It's nearly monochromatic, stylish, and compact, with a distinctive 1970s vibe and GMT functionality.

Every year since 2020, to celebrate the month in which three close friends – Alain Marhic, Jérôme Mage and Joseph Châtel – founded March LA.B, a highly limited and “Millésimée” watch is revealed. This year, the AM2 Slim GMT Titanium “Millesime March 2025” Edition may be seen as a combination of styles and features of last year’s “Millésime March 2024” and the AM2 GMT Grall Edition, only smaller.
It’s not like the other March LA.B timepieces were on the larger side of things. Still, perhaps embracing the trend for smaller watches, the eclectic young brand decided to mark this year’s arrival of spring by introducing a model with a modest 36mm case. Slim it is not, if you stick to the usual meaning, as the watch has the same 12.5mm thickness as the AM2 GMT Grall Edition and, if I am not mistaken, is by 1mm thicker than last year’s Millesime AM2 Titanium. Still, dictionaries offer interpretations of slim such as “small in size”, so let’s leave it at that.
The AM2’s signature design remains intact: an angular octagonal case with sharply sloping facets, prominent lugs, and the distinctive engraved crown at 4 o’clock. This edition features a grade 5 titanium case with an anti-fingerprint treatment – an essential detail to keep its six polished facets gleaming. A thin, sloping bezel is vertically brushed, extending that finish to the surfaces between the lugs and the H-link titanium bracelet. The screw-down crown ensures 100m water resistance.
A domed sapphire crystal with AR coating protects the matte grey textured dial, which includes a black-and-white 24-hour track printed on the raised level. The brushed, recessed centre hosts applied steel indices and minute/second track markings, while a step-framed date window at 6 o’clock reveals March LA.B’s signature green “3” on the appropriate date. Some might argue that the “GMT” and “Titanium” text could have been omitted for a cleaner look, with just the applied logo left, but that’s a matter of taste. The split-end hour and minute hands align with the hour markers design, while the GMT hand, tipped with a perforated green arrow, adds another pop of colour.
The solid titanium caseback, secured with four screws, is engraved with the brand’s logo and bears both “Made in France” and “Swiss MVT” markings. The La Joux-Perret G110 calibre powers the watch, the same movement found in the AM2 GMT Grall Edition. It beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a 68-hour power reserve.
Completing the package is a two-part titanium bracelet with brushed H-shaped links and quick-release spring bars for easy strap changes. It retains the retro-inspired “jewellery clasp” closure, requiring the logo-engraved folding part to be looped into and over a bar of the other part of the bracelet. It’s not the most convenient system, but think of it like winding a mechanical watch; it’s a ritual – one that lets you spend a little more time appreciating the watch. The “Millesime March 2025” is a limited edition of 133, and the price is EUR 2,595.
