The Two-Tone Zenith Chronomaster Sport, Now With a Mother-of-Pearl Dial
A bold sport chronograph that leans a little more towards the dressy side.
The Chronomaster Sport already has most of what you expect from a robust, modern sports chronograph, most often seen in stainless steel with a ceramic bezel. Beating inside is Zenith’s high-frequency El Primero movement, one of the best-known high-beat chronograph calibres out there. Alongside the full steel versions, Zenith has also pushed this design a little further before, trying a two-tone approach that mixes steel with gold. That idea returns with the Chronomaster Sport unveiled at Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026. The real difference this time sits on the dial. Instead of the usual sunray-pattern or matte surfaces, Zenith opts for mother-of-pearl while keeping the familiar three-colour counters of the Chronomaster Sport.
Measuring 41mm, the case combines stainless steel with 18-carat rose gold for the bezel, crown, and pushers, bringing a warmer, dressier tone to the watch. Zenith sticks with the same case shape and the mix of brushed and polished surfaces you expect from this chronograph series. The signature overlapping counters at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock retain their usual place, joined by faceted hands and applied indexes set against the mother-of-pearl dial. Gold-plated hands and hour markers are coated with Super-LumiNova, and the date window appears at 4:30 as on other Chronomaster Sport models. The watch is also water-resistant up to 100 metres.
Powering the latest chronograph is the El Primero 3600 calibre, revealed through a sapphire caseback. This self-winding, high-frequency movement operates at 5Hz, allowing the central chronograph hand to complete one full rotation every 10 seconds and measure elapsed time to 1/10th of a second. The movement uses a column-wheel chronograph architecture and offers a power reserve of around 60 hours. Zenith finishes it with an openworked rotor shaped around the brand’s star emblem, visible through the transparent caseback.
A bracelet combining stainless steel outer links with rose gold centre links follows the same two-tone theme as the case. Zenith also includes an additional black rubber strap equipped with a folding clasp, offering a more casual alternative to the bracelet. Released as a limited edition of 50 pieces, the Chronomaster Sport reference 51.3102.3600/01.M3100 is priced at CHF 17,900.
