It’s time again for a next give-away. Our good friends from MB&F, who also run the MAD Gallery in Geneva, Taipei and Dubai, kindly offered an Applause Machine that we can give to one of our readers. Just a few days ago we showed you, in a short video that we recorded in the MAD Gallery in Geneva, what a cool place it is. It’s all about mechanical art, whether we’re talking about the magnificent Horological and Legacy Machines or about the art in the MAD Gallery. The Applause Machine that you can win, is in orange, and this sweepstake will run from today until Saturday June 18.

Last week we shipped the BIG Ulysse Nardin wall clock to the lucky winner. Michael, if you read this, congrats! Today we ended the sweepstake for the beautiful Montblanc travel watch roll and I have to say that the number of people who registered for this sweepstake was just spectacular. We will be contacting the winner today, so watch your inbox. Now back to the topic at hand, the Applause Machine that you can win. What is the Applause Machine? It has hands, different hands than a watch, and these hands clap when a button is pressed. Have a look at the video below and everything becomes clear.

The one we’re giving away is orange and that’s because I’m from the Netherlands and orange is our national colour. You can find more information about the Applause Machine on the MAD Gallery website (click here). What you have to do to win it? Fill out the form with your name, email and answer 2 question, and your name will be in the bucket from which I’ll draw the winner in a week’s time from now. When you push the submit button, you will automatically receive our daily newsletter. You can easily change this to receiving the weekly newsletter instead of the daily. Good luck!

REGISTERING FOR THE SWEEPSTAKE IS CLOSED

Thanks for sharing your answers… APPLAUSE!

  1. Too cool! Mechanical artwork is so underappreciated and MB&F is doing some great stuff to change that. From their musical machines to their sculptural clocks to these galleries its great to see, and thank you Monochrome for making it accessible to the rest of us!

  2. Your site keeps telling me to leave a valid email address even though I am submitting a valid one. Help?

  3. @Dong-Keun Sorry for the technical glitch. I have added your name/email to the list of participants. And now… fingers crossed!
