Team Monochrome has just returned from a week in Switzerland where we visited Omega and MCT Watches. It was a great week, and it’s just awesome to meet old & new friends. The odometer in our cars gained a few thousand kilometers and after the week we had to recharge a bit. Now it’s time for the next sweepstake! This is the first sweepstake with gifts from IWC Schaffhausen and I’m pretty sure you will find some things of your liking. Shortly after the summer we will do a second IWC sweepstake (don’t miss that one!), however now I’d like to show you three beautiful books, a pair of IWC cufflinks and Ray-Ban Pilot Sunglasses.
Like with all our 10th anniversary sweepstakes we ask you to answer a few questions. This time we’d like to hear if there’s a discrepancy between the watches you look for and the watches that you actually buy. Maybe you have a weak spot for divers watches, and always end up buying another dress watch. For me it has been vintage watches…
I’ve aways loved vintage watches, the looks, the history, and sometimes the patina they gained over the years. I searched the net for the perfect one, however in the end I actually only bought a few vintage watches. And for a good reason: often too fragile, maintenance could be an issue, prices could be very high, and the few vintage pieces that I own, hardly get any wrist time (because of everything i mentioned). So after a few vintage purchases, I steered away, and now my search queries are different, much different, although I still have a weak spot for beautiful vintage timepieces.
I’m looking forward to find out more about what you like and if there’s a discrepancy with your actual collection. However now first your attention for the beautiful and desirable goodies/gifts that are so generously donated by IWC Schaffhausen. In this sweepstake you can choose from five gifts. First off a pair of cufflinks and pilot sunglasses made for IWC by Ray-Ban. How cool is that? Well… you could own one of these.
Or when you prefer to own a beautiful book, to flip through on a lazy Sunday morning, than we have just the perfect prizes that you can win. IWC made three books available and these are no small books! There’s the photo book “Timeless Portofino” with photos from Peter Lindbergh, the Harcourt coffee table book and the (probably well known) IWC book “Engineering Time”.
Select the prize that you would like to win in the form below, after your personal details and the two questions regarding your collection. Like with every sweepstake, your email will be added to our newsletter distribution list, and you will receive our daily newsletter. If you like to change this subscription, for instance to the weekly newsletter instead of the daily, than you can manage your details via a link in the footer of the newsletter. Thanks… and good luck!
