Sundown In Down Under, With The TAG Heuer Aquaracer Solargraph x Time+Tide Sundowner Edition
This robust and practical yet stylish timepiece is infused with subtle Down Under vibes.
In 2022, TAG Heuer introduced the Aquaracer Professional Solargraph, the brand’s first-ever solar-powered quartz model. This debut followed the release of the revamped Aquaracer Professional 200 series, featuring 40mm steel cases. The Solargraph retained the aesthetic and functional hallmarks of the Aquaracer line, quickly winning over TAG Heuer enthusiasts. Since its launch, several Solargraph variants have been added (34mm included), forming a significant part of the Aquaracer Outdoor collection. The latest release, created in collaboration with the popular Australian-born watch community platform Time + Tide, is the “Sundowner” edition. Let’s look at a watch that “takes inspiration from the Australian desert landscape”.
The TAG Heuer Aquaracer Solargraph x Time + Tide “Sundowner” comes in a 40mm grade 2 titanium case with a sandblasted finish, extending onto its distinctive 12-sided, notched unidirectional rotating bezel, adorned with rose gold-toned 60-minute timing scale markings. Its steel fluted screw-down crown, protected by guards, is detailed with a rose gold-coloured TAG Heuer shield logo. The solid titanium caseback engraved with the Time+Tide emblem completes the robust design. Like other Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph models, the watch is water-resistant up to 200 meters.
A flat sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating protects the anthracite sunray-brushed dial, which features Aquaracer’s signature horizontal lines. This semi-transparent dial allows light to reach the mechanism beneath, essential for powering the Solargraph. Consistent with the 40mm Solargraph series, the layout includes trapezoidal indices; unique to the Sundowner edition, the 6 o’clock index is shortened to make space for the Time+Tide logo.
Above the dial centre, the Aquaracer name and the applied TAG Heuer logo hold their classic positions. A date window sits at 3 o’clock, and the hour and minute hands feature a sword-like design. Rose-gold-plated accents adorn the applied indices and logos, hands, including the needle-like central seconds hand, while Super-LumiNova inserts in the indices and main hands ensure visibility in low light.
The TAG Heuer Aquaracer Solargraph x Time+Tide “Sundowner” is driven by the solar quartz TH50-00 movement, developed in collaboration with La Joux-Perret. Just 40 hours of bright light charge the battery—designed for a lifespan of 15 years—providing power for up to 10 months of continuous operation, with an energy-saving crown disengagement option for extended run.
The watch comes with a khaki-coloured textile NATO-style strap, finished with a rose-gold-toned pin buckle and keepers. Limited to 250 pieces, the “Sundowner” is available for purchase from November 18th at TimeandTideWatches.com, at Time+Tide’s Watch Discovery Studios in London and Melbourne, and through select TAG Heuer boutiques in Australia and New Zealand, as well as online at TAGHeuer.com. The watch is priced at AUD 4,450, GBP 2,700, or USD 3,050.

Really like this collaboration with T&T. Its definitely giving me some Omega Seamaster No Time To Die vibes.
USD 3,050… I am crying….
$3000 dollars? Really? I am bawling!!! I am an Ocean going paddler. My paddle board doesn’t cost that much!
Its as good as it looks and sounds. I bought one at the launch in London, and I was not dissapointed. Not my usual watch but the real rose gold Time and Tide logo makes it stand out!!!
Can you confirm the strap width/lug width? I’ve seen references to 19mm, 20mm and 21mm. Thanks!
