The Rado Anatom Gets Ready for Summer
With the original shape and fruit-hued optimism, the new references signal a confident evolution of the series.

More than forty years after it was first noticed for its daring design and futuristic materials, the Rado Anatom is again in the spotlight. Initially launched in 1983, the Anatom offered a technical and aesthetic innovation, yet was succeeded by other geometrically shaped collections. The brand relaunched the Anatom in 2023 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the range, once again sparking interest among the brand’s enthusiasts. In 2025, Rado adds three new versions, with lemon yellow, lime green, and grapefruit red gradient dials, embracing bold summer energy.
The new editions of the Anatom remain unmistakable Rado. The case measures 32.5mm in width, 46.3mm in length, and 11.3mm in thickness, achieving a refined balance between presence and wearability. Water resistance is 50m, which makes the Anatom perfectly suitable for daily wear.
The case features a polished black high-tech ceramic bezel, one of the brand’s signature materials, chosen for its exceptional scratch resistance and glossy finish. It has a circular, bevelled sapphire crystal, metallised in black and treated with anti-reflective coating on the inside. The case’s middle is made of sandblasted stainless steel coated in black PVD, giving it a matte contrast to the polished bezel. The construction is completed with a display caseback made of stainless steel. A black high-tech ceramic crown with a laser-engraved anchor logo is at 3 o’clock.
The dial of each model is designed with a gradient effect that shifts from black at the periphery to a burst of colour in the middle. The yellow version transitions from black to bright lemon, the green model comes with a lush lime tone, and the red edition flows into a rich grapefruit hue; fresh fruit was clearly an inspiration. All dials feature rhodium-coloured applied hour markers coated with white Super-LumiNova for nighttime visibility. The moving anchor logo, a Rado hallmark, rotates beneath the 12 o’clock mark on a black background, while a white-printed Rado logo and “Automatic” designation further define the display, with a neatly integrated date window at 6 o’clock, with a white print on a black disc.
Powering these colourful models is the automatic Rado calibre R766, which is an evolution of the tried-and-tested ETA 2892. The movement runs at a rate of 28,800vph, offers improved magnetic field resistance thanks to its Nivachron hairspring, and delivers a sturdy 72-hour power reserve.
Each version of the summer-inspired Anatom is paired with an FKM rubber strap in the same vibrant colour as the dial’s base tone, yellow, green, or red. A brushed stainless steel folding clasp with polished black high-tech ceramic cover and polished stainless steel pushers secures the strap. The new Rado Anatom references are now available through Rado retailers and online via the brand’s official website, and the price is EUR 3,750.

a not-so-smart choice of dates: 17, 8 and 8.
are you targeting an extreme right-wing conspiracy readership?
Explain?
Q is the 17th letter of the alphabet and is sometimes used by the far right as a symbol to denote an object of hatred (Q Anon?). H is the 8th letter of the alphabet and a double 8 (HH) is used by the far right as shorthand for Heil Hitler. I doubt the watch company intended this.
I came to ask what were they thinking in making a mechanical watch that resembles an ugly smart watch and stayed for the conspiracy theories and numerology.
Notenoughwrists that is wrong on so many levels. Your comment not the watch.
