“Watches for tomorrow” – Watches for a Good Cause
The third edition of a watch charity auction to support Terre des hommes
The third edition of Watches for Tomorrow, the charitable watch auction in Bienne, Switzerland, will take place on 28 November 2026 to support a good cause — with every contribution helping Terre des hommes. What started in 2024 as an initiative by watch enthusiast Alexander Grouet has grown into a gathering of collectors, watch brands and enthusiasts united by a common purpose: using their passion for watches to make a difference.
For the inaugural edition, Grouet and a group of fellow collectors donated some of their own watches to be auctioned in support of the NGO. The project grew further in 2025, with additional collectors contributing watches and a growing number of watch brands joining the initiative. TAG Heuer, Tissot, Formex, Peren, Horage, Christopher Ward, Certina and Zodiac all donated pieces to support the charitable cause.
The 2026 edition aims to take another important step forward. For the first time, Watches for Tomorrow will be held at the Nouveau Musée Bienne providing a fitting setting in one of Switzerland’s historic watchmaking cities. The auction will once again bring together collectors, enthusiasts and watch companies, with the ambition of making the event bigger and more impactful.
A touch of orange
Watch brands are invited to contribute unique or specially created pieces featuring a touch of orange, the signature colour of Terre des hommes, the charity that benefits from the proceeds of the auction. Founded in 1960, the NGO is Switzerland’s largest organisation dedicated to defending children’s rights. Collectors are also invited to participate by donating watches from their personal collections.
The list of brands confirmed for 2026 includes: Christopher Ward, DYW, Laco (in collaboration with Turicum Watch Group), Ollech & Wajs, Horage, Formex, Sicura, Dennison, Peren and Louis Erard.
Visitors can register for the preview and participate in the auction on 28 November 2026. The catalogue of the auction will be unveiled at the end of October. For auction details, registration, donations and further information, please visit watchesfortomorrow.ch.
