Last week was an important moment of the year for the watch industry, a casual and relaxed watch fair known as the Geneva Watch Days 2022. We’ve already presented, with articles, most of the new timepieces that have been introduced by exhibiting brands, which includes the latest creation of independent watchmaker Czapek. Mostly focussed on enlarging its cool and sporty Antarctique collection in the past couple of years, the brand now goes back to basics, with an updated edition of what was its very first watch, the elegant and yet original Quai Des Bergues. And now, we have Xavier de Roquemaurel, CEO of the brand, talking in front of our camera, explaining everything you need to know about what’s mainly a mechanical update to an already rather achieved piece. And exclusively for us, there’s also a sneak peek on what to expect from Czapek in the coming years, whether it comes to managing availability, production facilities and strategy for new models.
