SOLD OUT: All 33 pieces of our Montre de Souscription 4 are sold, and a few more…
This morning, we all had a very pleasant message when we woke up… all 33 pieces of our fourth collaboration with Habring² were gone. Maybe it didn’t sell as fast as our first MdS, when all 33 pieces sold out in just 17 minutes, but still, we’re super happy and grateful that all 33 pieces sold out in 12 hours. Here’s a quick message to thank everyone who participated… and to the 33 new owners of a lovely Seconde Morte!
Given the situation of the market, I did not expect our MdS4 to sell out so quickly. We were all quite uncertain if we would sell out, and if so, in how much time. Well… in 12 hours, or to be more precise, in 12 hours and 20 minutes. The last purchase was made at exactly 3:20 am, and we were sound asleep.

So that means 33 watches, numbered from 1 to 33, and a few extra pieces. Pietro’s example will be numbered PP/33, Brice’s version will be BG/33, Robin’s will be RN/33, and of course, there’s my version as well. So altogether 37 pieces of this gorgeous Seconde Morte by Habring² will be on wrists as of early next year.
We do one, maybe two, such collabs per year. I don’t want to do more as we are a media in the first (and second, and third) place. Due to ‘some design issues’ (on our side), the fourth MdS took us much longer than we anticipated, so there was a rather big gap between the third and fourth.
Our first, a gorgeous salmon sector dial mono pusher chronograph, was in June 2021; our second, the Czapek Antarctique Monochrome White, was announced in December of the same year (and sold out in less than a minute!) Our third, in my opinion, the most beautiful yet discreet version of Armin Strom’s Gravity Equal Force, was announced in August 2023. Our fourth was actually planned for 2024… but alas. And although we just finished the sale of this fourth Montre de Souscription, the fifth will be announced coming January!
First of all, let me thank Maria and Richard Habring for being such pleasant folks to work with. And for making such incredibly nice, high-quality watches. Honestly, their watches are among the best value for the money among independent watchmakers. Besides having a very reliable movement, the finishing looks great, the cases, dials, hands, and everything is under the scrutiny of master watchmaker Richard Habring.
Secondly, a big thanks to Pietro Pilla! After struggling with the dial design for our second collab with Habring for a long time, it was a blessing to have him design the dial. And even when we thought it was good, he had a few tiny points he thought should be improved. Top!
Thanks to our friends in the online watch media… a big thanks to Time + Tide, Fratello, Hodinkee, SJX, CH24.PL and The Watch Observer (linking to their respective articles about MdS4). It was so kind of you all to help us spread the news of this extraordinary timepiece, a big thanks!!
And last, but certainly not least… thanks to the 33 new owners of the beautiful Montre de Souscription 4 Seconde Morte. Thanks for the trust, the confidence and the love for beautiful and fascinating watches.

Deliveries will commence in Q1 of 2026. And at the same time, in January, we will announce our fifth Montre de Souscription. Those who have kept a very close eye on my Insta stories might have already seen it…

I’m sad to have missed out! I didn’t check the website until yesterday evening in the U.S., and to my disappointment, they were all gone! Congrats on designing such a desireable piece with the Habrings – truly a first class effort all-around!
how many collectors from Austria bought one? I am from Austria and I honestly though about it, but obviously was too late…
To our surprise it sold out rather fast… Unfortunately no client from Austria.
Thanks for your kind words, Tom, much appreciated!
