The New Oris Social Club Edition II
A dive watch at heart, but one designed above all to represent the people around it.
The Oris Social Club is no longer a local initiative. With 62 chapters now established around the world, the community has become a truly international network of collectors, enthusiasts and friends. The new Oris Social Club Edition II celebrates that growth with a watch designed to unite all chapters rather than focus on a single location.
The base is the Aquis Date Relief 43.5mm, one of the more distinctive versions of Oris’s modern dive watch. Its stainless steel case remains large at 43.5mm in diameter and 51mm lug-to-lug. The signature unidirectional bezel retains its steel insert with the diving scale in relief, giving the watch a recognisable, almost industrial character. The stainless steel caseback is engraved with an outline of the Oris factory in Hölstein, together with the markings “OSC | INT”, underlining the international nature of the project. Water resistance is 300m.
A frosted silver dial distinguishes this edition. Oris describes the texture as a reference to a community’s fingerprint, a fitting idea for a watch built around individual members coming together. Applied indices and hands are filled with Super-LumiNova, while the date window at 6 o’clock holds a playful surprise: on the first day of every month, the Oris Bear appears, looking at the wearer.
The watch is powered by the Oris 733 calibre, based on the Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement (an alternative to the ETA 2824). It has 26 jewels, beats at 28,800 vibrations/hour, and offers 41 hours of autonomy. Functions include central hours, minutes, hacking seconds and date.
The new Oris Social Club Edition II is worn on the olive green NATO strap. It is the first time in more than a decade that Oris has presented an Aquis Date on a NATO, giving the otherwise robust dive watch a more casual and versatile appearance. Available from September 2026, the Oris Social Club Edition II is priced at CHF 2,100. For more information, please visit www.oris.ch.
