The new Nomos Club Campus Starlight and Night Sky

The very non-serious Nomos series expands with starry night colours.

The Glashütte-based brand introduced the Campus line to its Club collection in 2017 with a clear goal: to appeal to a younger generation, particularly graduates. Over the past few years, the Club Campus series has grown, adding fresh, playful colours while maintaining the same good technical foundation. The Campus watches featured Future Orange and Absolute Grey dials, followed by Blue Purple and Deep Pink in 2022. Cream Coral and Electric Green arrived a year later, and in 2024, Nonstop Red and Endless Blue debuted. Now, imagine all these vibrant watches lined up, joined by the latest additions, Starlight and Night Sky. It’s enough to make some of us wish we were younger.

Like in previous years, Nomos introduced four new references: the Club Campus Starlight and Night Sky, available in two sizes. The compact, unisex stainless steel case measures 36mm with an 8.2mm profile, while the larger version measures 38.5mm with an 8.5mm thickness. Both are topped with a sapphire crystal, feature a closed caseback (sapphire on option), and offer a comfortable 100m water-resistance.

What sets the Campus series apart from the rest of the Nomos catalogue is its signature dial design, featuring a California-style mix of Roman and Arabic numerals, split between the upper and lower halves, with short stick indices in between. The dark blue Night Sky dial pairs white numerals and hour markers with a pink outline, while the yellow Starlight edition features light grey numerals and indices with an orange outline. Both share rhodium-plated hour and minute hands with luminous inserts and a striking neon orange seconds hand on the recessed small seconds subdial above 6 o’clock.

At the heart of the Club Campus models is the Nomos Alpha calibre, a compact hand-wound movement based on the Peseux architecture but produced in-house. It offers a 43-hour power reserve when fully wound and includes a hacking seconds function for precise time-setting.

Each model is fitted with a grey or darker anthracite suede leather-free strap to complete the look. These four new references are now available from the brand and are part of the permanent collection. The Nomos Club Campus 36 is priced at EUR 1,300, and the Club Campus 38 is priced at EUR 1,400; if you wish to have a sapphire crystal caseback, this option usually adds another EUR 200 to the price.
