Two New Pastel Colours for the TAG Heuer Carrera Date 36mm
Embracing the trend of colourful dials, the new small-sized Carrera watches feature soft pastel tones enhanced with a subtle sparkle.
The TAG Heuer Carrera Date 36mm is designed to captivate both men and women, all thanks to its versatile unisex diameter. Within the collection, however, some models naturally lean towards a more traditionally feminine appeal, enhanced using soft colours and diamond-adorned dials. The two latest additions to the colourful lineup, featuring delicate powdery pink and lilac dials with sparkling indices, appeal to women as they strike a perfect balance between elegance, functionality, and charm while staying true to the design principles of the classic TAG Heuer Carrera.
The two new TAG Heuer Carrera Date references come in the 2023-updated 36mm case design, with the typical sharp, faceted lugs, a slim 10.26mm thickness, and a 41.6mm lug-to-lug measurement. The case, crafted from stainless steel with fine brushed and polished finishes, is topped by a fixed polished bezel and a bevelled, domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating. At 3 o’clock, the fluted push-pull crown features the shield logo, while the case construction ensures a water-resistance of 50 meters.
The screw-down sapphire caseback reveals the automatic calibre 7 movement, based on the Sellita SW300. This movement, an upgrade from the earlier ETA 2824-based calibre 5 used for the series, operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour, offers an extended 56-hour power reserve, has a thinner profile, and is finished with finer decorative details.
The new TAG Heuer Carrera Date 36mm models showcase dials in powdery pink and lilac, each with distinct textures – sunray-brushed for the pink and snailed for the lilac. Both feature a matching inclined flange for the minutes track, blending with the dial colour. Rhodium-plated, faceted, and polished diamond-set indices mark the hours, except at 6 o’clock, where a framed date aperture is positioned. The familiar handset design remains, with all hands rhodium-plated and polished. The faceted hour and minute hands are treated with white Super-LumiNova, ensuring excellent legibility in any light.
The new TAG Heuer Carrera Date 36mm references are worn on a stainless steel H-shaped bracelet matching the case’s brushed and polished finishes. The bracelet is secured with a folding clasp with double safety push buttons. Both new models are priced at CHF 4,250 and will be available starting June 2025. For more, visit TagHeuer.com.
