MeisterSinger first introduced the Panthero Jumping Hour at the start of the year, with three versions at launch: lacquered black or white dials (regular production) and a genuine hand-guilloché silver dial as a limited edition. The Souscription Panthero Jumping Hour Guilloché followed, with a light grey dial and a blue off-centred minutes ring and accents, and then the Blue Sunburst or Golden Yellow Sunburst editions, all featuring a single needle-shaped hand to indicate the minutes, with the hour appearing in a window and jumping forward at the start of every new hour. With this latest version, MeisterSinger, celebrating its 25th Anniversary, offers a light blue guilloché dial with dark grey accents.

For this new edition, the Panthero Jumping Hour’s stainless steel case is unchanged: it retains a relatively slim bezel to maximise dial space and measures 40.5mm in diameter. The case features a mix of brushed and polished surfaces, topped with a sapphire crystal, and a display caseback to reveal the movement. Water resistance is 50m.

For the dial, the new edition uses a genuine guilloché with a light blue finish. The pattern is cut into the surface on traditional manually operated guilloché machinery before being treated for colour. An off-centred minutes ring with white double-digit markings at 5-minute intervals, the single needle hand, and MeisterSinger’s characteristic sun wheel are finished in dark grey, creating contrast against the blue background. The jumping-hour aperture is at 12 o’clock, while the sun wheel overlaps the lower part of the minutes ring.

The movement is the MS-JH-01, an automatic calibre based on the Sellita SW300 (an alternative to the ETA 2892), fitted with a jumping-hour module developed for MeisterSinger by Dubois-Dépraz. The calibre operates at 28,800 vibrations/hour and stores around 47 hours of power reserve.

The watch is worn on a cognac-coloured calfskin strap with crocodile embossing, closed with a double-folding clasp. The MeisterSinger Edition Panthero Jumping Hour Guilloché is limited to 25 pieces, priced at EUR 7,990 including VAT. For more information, please visit MeisterSinger.com.
