The German single-hand specialist gives two established models a brighter look, with turquoise lacquered dials, compact 38mm cases, and subtle refinements to the Perigraph’s date display.
Watchmaking enthusiasts know MeisterSinger and the foundational idea behind its creations: time does not always need to be read to the nearest second. Two of the Münster-based brand’s long-standing models, the No03 and the Perigraph, now come as special editions that pair the signature single-hand display with a cool new dial colour.
Both watches are presented in polished stainless steel cases measuring 38mm in diameter, with a 50m water-resistance. Protected by the sapphire crystals, the turquoise-blue dials are finished with transparent lacquer. The No03 keeps things simple, with its single central hand and the brand’s characteristic hour markings.
The Perigraph adds a date indication via a rotating disc, with several dial details refined for this special edition. The hour numerals from 01 to 12 follow the dial’s circular orientation. The polished silver chamfers frame the opening to the date disc. The date scale now uses leading zeros for single-digit dates (01 rather than 1, for example) and brings the display in line with the two-digit-style numerals used elsewhere on the watch.
Both models are powered by the Swiss-made Sellita SW300 automatic movement (an alternative to the ETA 2892), operating at 28,800 vibrations/hour and offering a 42-hour power reserve. The calibre is visible through the sapphire caseback. The watches are worn on a light-blue textile strap; another option is a mahogany-coloured calfskin strap with crocodile embossing. Quick-release spring bars allow the wearer to switch between the two without tools.
