The New Hautlence Linear Series 3 Red
Wearing a Hautlence has always been a statement, but the bold new red-accented edition takes it to another level.

Hautlence – part of MELB Holding, which is also the owner of H. Moser & Cie. – has been around for quite some time and is known for its TV-shaped case design and original displays. The brand, which seemed dormant for a while, was brought back into the spotlight by releasing the Vagabonde Series with the wandering hours display and the Linear Series – initially launched with signature blue accents, followed by an all-black version. The original Series now returns in bold red with the new Linear Series 3, making a powerful statement.
Staying true to Hautlence’s signature aesthetic, the Linear Series 3 features the same TV-shaped case as its predecessors. Crafted from stainless steel, satin-finished and polished, it measures 43mm × 50.8mm with a height of 11.9mm (12.2mm including the sapphire crystal). The crown, fitted with a rubber insert, is finished in red for this edition. Like the rest of the Linear Series, this model offers a water resistance of 100m.
The dial retains the signature elements of the Linear 1 and 2, including the vertical hour display on the left side, where a small white pointer marks the current hour. Minutes are centrally displayed on a sapphire crystal disc with raised white numerals in Globolight. A one-minute flying tourbillon under a blackened, open-worked bridge adds to the watch’s technical allure. At the same time, black and red coatings dominate the visible, reinforcing this model’s bold identity. The base dial is crafted from rhodium-plated brass with a vertical satin finish and red Zapon lacquer, while the upper section features a matte red lacquer.
For movement, the Linear Series 3 remains unchanged. It houses the same custom display module developed with Agenhor, mounted atop the calibre D50 (the H. Moser & Cie. HMC 804). Operating at 21,600 vibrations per hour, it delivers a good 72-hour power reserve.
The new Hautlence Linear Series 3 is worn on a red rubber strap, closed with a pin buckle. The watch is a limited edition of 28 pieces; the price is CHF 63,000, taxes included. For more details, please visit www.hautlence.com.
