When we gave away the first IWC Wall Clock, Monochrome’s managing editor Brice Goulard was enjoying a well-deserved vacation. Today he’s on his way to Miami to join the TAG Heuer team at Art Basel in Miami. However back on topic… we’re giving away a second IWC wall clock! The first give-away was already hugely successful and I’m very happy that IWC agreed to make another wall clock available for Monochrome’s 10th anniversary give-aways.
The end of the year is already near, and we still have a few give-aways to go. Next up will be several Jaeger-LeCoultre year books, five A. Lange & Söhne books, notebooks and pens, and Montblanc watch pouches with the Monochrome logo embossed. Not too bad if I may say so! So stay tuned, register for the give-away, and have a change to win this super cool IWC wall clock.
This IWC wall clock measures 40 cm (approx. 16 inch) in diameter and has the looks of a Portugieser, with similar rail track around the dial, and applied numerals and hour markers. Funny enough the dial shows the word “automatic”, while it is of course powered by a battery. However… the second hand goes smooth around the dial, and does not show the usual jumping second hand that every regular quartz movement has. No, it actually looks like there’s a mechanical movement inside and that’s just very cool!
Here’s a short video of the sweeping second hand.
Like with every sweepstake, we’ll ask you a few question and you will automagically be subscribed to our newsletter. You can change the subscription from daily to weekly, to suit your personal preference.
The questions that we’re asking this week include your first and last name, your email, and how and where you read the Monochrome newsletter (or intend to read it as soon as you’re subscribed). Thanks in advance for filling out the form and letting us understand better who you are, and how we can serve you best!
Entering this give-away has ended…
