The MeisterSinger NL Edition Tulip 2026

MeisterSinger’s single-hand watches draw on an old tradition: clocks were often equipped with just one hand, giving the wearer a broader, less hurried reading of the day. Over the years, the German brand that celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2026, has applied this concept to everything from simple time-only watches to models with jumping hours, moon phases, day and date displays, and even a chiming mechanism. Its annual NL Editions have been created for the Netherlands since 2004; see our past reviews of the green Bell Hora with its hourly sonnerie au passage or the blue, tone-on-tone No.03 Mystique. This year, MeisterSinger turns to a very Dutch reference: the tulip.

The NL Edition Tulip uses MeisterSinger’s 03 stainless steel case, measuring 43mm in diameter and topped with a sapphire crystal. The exhibition caseback, fixed in place with four screws, also uses sapphire and carries a printed tulip motif. As with previous Dutch editions, the crown is positioned on the left side of the case. Water resistance is 50 metres.

The two-layer dial features a medium-blue sunburst lower surface, much like the Bell Hora Edition Notre Dame from two years ago. Inspired by the Delft Blue ceramics, it changes reflections as the light moves across the dial. A white machine-cut layer decorated with an ornamental tulip pattern is positioned on top. On the wide outer ring, double-digit hour numerals sit closer to the centre, while the peripheral scale lets the long central needle-shaped hand, based on historical clock hands and finished in blue, indicate time in five-minute increments.

The watch is powered by the Sellita SW200, an automatic movement modified for MeisterSinger’s single-hand display. It runs at 28,800 vibrations/hour and provides about 38 hours of power reserve.

The MeisterSinger NL Edition Tulip 2026 is worn on a blue calf leather strap with crocodile embossing and secured with a pin buckle. The watch is limited to 66 pieces and is available now for EUR 2,590, including VAT.
