The Chopard Alpine Eagle Flying Tourbillon Now in Ice Blue
A certified chronometer with a Poinçon de Genève quality stamp on both case and tourbillon-regulated movement returns in a different shade of blue.

The Alpine Eagle draws inspiration from the 1980s St. Moritz series, Chopard’s take on the then-trending luxury sports watch with an integrated bracelet—a trend that has regained momentum. The Chopard Alpine Eagle Flying Tourbillon joined the collection in 2022, following the introduction of the chronograph and high-frequency models. While there’s always room to discuss influences and debate whether a tourbillon belongs in a sports watch, one thing is clear: the Alpine Eagle is making its mark, and the Flying Tourbillon fits right in.
The latest 2025 Alpine Eagle Flying Tourbillon remains largely unchanged from its 2022 debut, with the only noticeable update being the dial colour. This new version features a “Rhône Blue” dial, a lighter shade than the original “Aletsch Blue.” The 41mm case, crafted from Lucent Steel — Chopard’s proprietary alloy — maintains its finishes, shape, 8mm slim profile, 100m water resistance, and sapphire crystals on both the front and back.
True to the Alpine Eagle’s DNA, the dial carries the collection’s textured motif. The gold dial base is stamped to create the radiating pattern and then coloured via PVD treatment. The white gold hour markers and hour and minute hands are coated with Grade X1 Super-LumiNova for enhanced readability. The running seconds are displayed via a white gold triangle-tipped pointer attached to the tourbillon cage; the pointer is also luminescent.
At the heart of the watch is the L.U.C 96-24-L, a micro-rotor movement measuring just 3.3mm thick. Operating at 25,200 vibrations per hour, it boasts a 65-hour power reserve, thanks to Chopard Twin Technology’s stacked double barrels. As a mark of its precision and craftsmanship, the movement is both COSC-certified and bears the Poinçon de Genève quality hallmark.
The Alpine Eagle Flying Tourbillon is paired with a Lucent Steel bracelet featuring satin-brushed wide links with polished central caps and is secured by a triple-folding clasp. The price for this stunner is yet to be confirmed.
