The New Chronoswiss Pulse GMT Frosted Guilloche Gold
Chronoswiss expands its contemporary Pulse collection with a new 18k gold case edition fitted with an integrated rubber strap.
Presented in 2025, the Pulse collection was a significant departure for Chronoswiss. While retaining signature elements such as the onion crown, coin-edge bezel and layered dial construction, it introduced a newly designed case with an integrated-style bracelet and a very contemporary aesthetic. Earlier this year, the collection welcomed the Pulse GMT models, namely the Enamel Sky Gold and Silver Guilloche editions. Now, Chronoswiss adds another variant: the Pulse GMT Frosted Guilloche Gold, a limited-edition model in a precious-metal case and a sporty rubber strap.
The Pulse GMT Frosted Guilloché Gold keeps the Pulse’s 26-part construction, 41mm case measuring 13mm thick and 46.27mm lug-to-lug. Crafted from 18k 5N red gold, it combines satin-brushed, sandblasted and polished surfaces, and retains the partially knurled bezel and the recessed onion crown with subtle guards. The double-coated anti-reflective sapphire crystal tops the case. The screw-down case back with satin finish is fitted with a sapphire crystal to view the movement. Water-resistance is 50m.
The multi-pat, multi-level dial is elaborate, with hand-guilloche-decorated centre and domed displays, and finishes that include frosted sandblasting, nickel galvanic coatings, and polishing. Polished, blue-PVD-treated applied indices, blued steel Pyramid hands and blue markings contrast nicely against the frosted silver-toned dial surfaces, ensuring excellent legibility. A pair of blued screws in the middle adds a bit of a technical touch.
The GMT display remains unchanged from earlier Pulse GMT models. Local hour is shown on the 12-hour subdial at 3 o’clock, while a 24-hour disc at 9 o’clock is for home time hour indication. Central minutes and seconds connect the two displays, creating a clean and intuitive layout.
The watch is powered by the Chronoswiss calibre C.6002, developed with La Joux-Perret. The automatic movement operates at 28,800 vibrations/hour and delivers a 55-hour power reserve. Visible through the sapphire caseback, it features a skeletonised tungsten rotor, Geneva-striped ruthenium-plated bridges and polished components.
Unlike earlier Pulse GMT references, which were fitted with an integrated bracelet, this edition is worn on a newly developed black rubber strap for a more contemporary, casual character. Limited to 50 pieces, the new Pulse GMT Frosted Guilloché Gold is priced at CHF 42,000 or EUR 46,500. For more information, please visit chronoswiss.com.
