The New Chronoswiss Pulse GMT Enamel Sky Gold and Pulse GMT Silver Guilloche
Two distinct modern watches combine Lucerne craftsmanship with practical dual-time functionality.
Introduced last year, the Pulse line is a departure from the classical regulator watches for which Chronoswiss became known in the 1980s. The collection keeps the key design elements such as the oversized onion crown, the coin-edge bezel, and the layered dial construction, but offers a contemporary case and an integrated bracelet. Just ahead of Watches and Wonders 2026, Chronoswiss adds two new references to its contemporary Pulse series, the Pulse GMT Enamel Sky Gold and the Pulse GMT Silver Guilloché. Both revisit a traveller’s complication historically associated with the brand’s 1999 Tora dual-time model, yet reinterpret it within the modern design language of the Pulse collection.
Both new Pulse GMT watches share the same automatic movement, the Chronoswiss Manufacture calibre C.6002, developed with La Joux-Perret. Running at 28,800 vibrations/hour and delivering a 55-hour power reserve, the movement employs a dual-time module. A 24-hour subdial at 9 o’clock indicates the second time zone; a 12-hour subdial at 3 o’clock displays the local hour. Central minutes and seconds connect both indications in a clear, balanced presentation of the GMT complication.
The Pulse GMT Enamel Sky Gold is the most exclusive version of the two, produced in a limited series of 50 pieces. The watch is housed in a 41mm case crafted from 5N 18-carat red gold with a fully integrated gold bracelet. For this new reference, Chronoswiss pairs the modern Pulse design with a paillonné enamel dial.
The curved dial’s white-gold plate is engraved with hand-guilloché patterns on century-old machines in the Chronoswiss atelier in Lucerne. Multiple layers of translucent blue enamel are then applied and fired at high temperatures. Once the desired depth of colour is achieved, the tiny star-shaped gold paillons are individually cut and positioned by hand under magnification. A final layer of transparent enamel seals these elements beneath the surface, creating the illusion that the gold stars float above the guilloché base.
The Pulse GMT Silver Guilloché retains the same design but is crafted from Grade 5 titanium and is limited to 200 pieces. The titanium case flows seamlessly into the integrated bracelet, emphasising the Pulse design and providing everyday comfort. Instead of enamel, the focus here lies on traditional engine-turned decoration. Two different guilloché patterns interact across the dial surface, producing a constantly shifting play of light as the watch moves on the wrist.
On both variants, the dial boasts a multi-layered construction with sunblasted rings on the periphery, domed subdials for home and local time, and blued steel hour indices; time is indicated by blued steel hands.
Together, these two releases showcase the dual identity of Chronoswiss today as a brand that celebrates traditional craftsmanship and eagerly explores contemporary design. The titanium version is priced at EUR 18,500, and the gold model will retail for EUR 87,000. For more details, please visit chronoswiss.com.
