Collection Privee Cartier Paris

| By Frank Geelen | 1 min read |

Last week I had a drink with a friend of mine who is also highly interested in watches. He is actually an avid Cartier collector and knows a lot about this brand. On his own website he gives an extensive overview of the watches of the Cartier Paris Collection Privee (CPCP).

If you need details about caliber, size or variations of a specific modell, i’m sure you can find it on troisanneaux.com.

Here you see the movement of a Cartier Tank.

Actually before we met, I never really thought Cartier would be interesting for me as a watch brand. I must admit that i actually knew nothing about the brands history in making watches. After learning more I started appreciating this brands heritage and I think their role in fine watch making was highly underestimated by me.

I’m glad to know more about Cartier watch and there are some models that really make my heart beat faster. The Tonneau XL in rose gold or the small Tank Chinoise in platinum are incredibly beautiful. The Tortue Mono Poussoir is one of the most classy chronograph i’ve ever seen …. and i could go on 🙂

The pictures in this post are borrowed from his website. If you’d like to read more about Cartier’s watches of the CPCP collection or other Cartier cufflinks, than I suggest you take a look at his website.

  1. I’d love to visit that site but my browser flags it as a security risk. Maybe you can relay this to your friend. Thanks for the article, regardless.
