The MONOCHROME Montre de Souscription 5, Launching 29 January 2026
Our fifth Montre de Souscription is coming soon, and it has something truly special under the hood.
Following the recent and successful release of our fourth Montre de Souscription, we’re thrilled to announce the launch of our next Montre de Souscription. Following the release of the Montre de Souscription 1, a salmon-toned, sector dial chronograph based on the Habring² Chrono-Felix, the Montre de Souscription 2, a MONOCHROME white interpretation of the Czapek Antarctique, the Montre de Souscription 3, a discreet and traditional take of the Armin Strom Gravity Equal Force, and the Montre de Souscription 4 Seconde Morte with Habring², it is now time for something that we, once again, developed with great pleasure. Vintage inspiration, elegant proportions, classic design meant to last, haute horlogerie finishes, a superb movement, a meaningful complication… This is what to expect with the MdS 5, launching on Thursday, 29 January 2026, at exactly 15:00 Central European Time.
Following the concept we introduced with the Salmon Monopusher MdS1, later used with the MdS2 and MdS3, the Montre de Souscription 5 will be offered as part of a subscription campaign. What does that mean? A classic concept popularised by Breguet, the idea is to offer the watch for a limited duration of time with a limited production run, a sort of group buy if you want. Working with an independent artisan watchmaker also allows us to scale production while maintaining exclusivity. Here, considering the more high-end vision we had with this watch, no more than 20 pieces will be produced and available for just 10 days, or until all pieces have been spoken for. Following the traditional subscription watch procedure, we will ask for a down payment to reserve the watch, with the remaining amount charged when the watch is ready to ship.
What can we share with you about the Montre de Souscription 5 for now? That it is a splendid watch, a slim and compact timepiece with elegant, retro-styled design, powered by a meaningful movement once created by some of the most revered watchmakers of the independent horology scene. And yes, it is a chronograph, with the most classic and appealing architecture possible.
For now, all we can tell is that the MONOCHROME Montre de Souscription 5 will be presented and available for order this coming Thursday (29 January 2026) at 3PM Central European Time (GMT+1), 9AM New York time or 10PM Singapore time. It will then be available for 10 days, from the MONOCHROME Shop.
