The Tonda PF collection by Parmigiani Fleurier is one of the most appealing contemporary takes on the luxury sports watch genre. Elegant, discreet and deliberately restrained, the collection has always favoured proportion and refined details over overtly demonstrative design. The same approach has been applied to the skeletonised versions, and now the brand introduces a new limited edition with a particularly rich visual combination, the Tonda PF Skeleton Rose Gold Milano Blue.

The new edition is a variation of the existing Tonda PF Skeleton, retaining its familiar case, integrated bracelet and slim automatic movement. What changes is the material, treatment, and the watch’s character. The warm tone of the rose gold case and bracelet is contrasted by a deep, saturated shade of blue, applied to the openworked architecture.

The case measures 40mm in diameter and 8.5mm thick; it combines polished and satin-brushed surfaces, with the signature finely knurled bezel and subtle teardrop lugs. A 4.3mm screw-down crown and 100m water resistance reinforce the sporting credentials of this precious-metal model. The integrated rose-gold bracelet, closed with a folding clasp, creates visual continuity from case to wrist.

Like the earlier steel and rose gold versions of the Tonda PF Skeleton, this new reference relies on calibre PF777, Parmigiani Fleurier’s in-house automatic skeleton movement. Measuring 3.9mm thick, it operates at 28,800 vibrations/hour and provides 60 hours of autonomy. The movement, visible both on the dial side and through the sapphire caseback, is equipped with a skeletonised 22k rose-gold oscillating weight.

The Milano Blue treatment adds dimensionality to the openworked construction, while the sandblasted and satin-finished surfaces create subtle contrasts across the bridges. The blue becomes part of the architecture, providing a darker backdrop to the rose gold elements. The applied 18k rose gold indices appear to float above the movement, and the skeletonised delta-shaped hands are the familiar element of the Tonda PF collection.

The new Tonda PF Skeleton Rose Gold Milano Blue is a limited edition of 30 pieces. The price is CHF 97,000 or EUR 109,500. For more information, please visit parmigiani.com.
