Singer Reimagined, founded in 2017, is a Geneva-based watchmaking brand born from the collaboration between Rob Dickinson, founder of Singer Vehicle Design, known for bespoke Porsche 911 restomods, and Italian watch designer Marco Borraccino. The duo bonded over a shared passion for 1960s-70s sport chronographs and engineering excellence, leading to Singer’s motto: “Reimagined, Restored, Reborn”. While chronographs are the main course, the Caballero is Singer’s time-only watch, fitted with a proprietary movement featuring four barrels and an impressive 6-day power reserve. Launched last year, two new Caballero models are released in lightweight titanium cases with new dial colours.

Now housed in titanium, the Caballero case measures a compact 39mm across and 10.5mm thick. Compared to steel, one problem with the duller, gunmetal aesthetic of titanium is that it can flatten a design. To counter this, Singer has highlighted the sweeping C-shaped lugs and the curved profile of the case middle with micro-sandblasted surfaces that contrast sharply with the gleaming mirror-polished bevel. With a fluted edge, the bezel also stands out with its radiant mirror-polished finish. The crown, used to wind the movement and set the time, is large and fluted for better grip.

A hallmark of this family is the golden-toothed flange on the dial, a bold design element that echoes the golden central pinion that holds the hands in place. Another signature trait is the four rubies visible through apertures on the dial. Serving a functional and aesthetic role, the rubies are in fact the jewels capping the ends of the calibre’s four barrels. Available with velvety matte dials in Avio Blue or Cocoa Brown, the lack of indices underscores its deliberate minimalism, which doesn’t mean a lack of personality. The eye-catching orange Super-LumiNova in the tips of the hour and minute hands matches the Singer Orange colour of the central seconds hand.

As a brand closely associated with powerful engines, the proprietary Calibre-4 delivers exceptional autonomy. Developed from the ground up, the manual-winding movement uses four barrels arranged in two parallel sets, delivering a six-day power reserve with a flat torque curve. Running at 28,800 vibrations/hour, it is engineered for stability and long-term precision, ensuring amplitude remains constant across the entire reserve. Bridges are rhodium-plated and finely finished with micro-blasting and polished chamfers.

The Singer Caballero Titanium editions are paired with colour-matched textile straps with leather loops; the 20mm straps taper to 16mm at the steel pin buckle. Available from May 2026, the watches share a retail price of CHF 18,500 (excl.tax).
