Since the debut of the Independence Skeleton in 2022, followed by the fifth-anniversary Skeleton editions in 2023 and the more compact 40mm model introduced last year, Norqain has established its approach to skeletonisation. Without chasing the extremes, the brand offers a combination of a contemporary openworked design and the robust, adventure-ready character that defines the brand. The latest Independence Skeleton Titanium keeps the formula, presented in a Grade 5 titanium case with a black DLC coating.

The 42mm case measures 11.8mm thick with 48.75mm lug-to-lug, but Grade 5 titanium reduces weight while maintaining rigidity. The DLC coating reinforces the technical appearance. Strong crown guards frame the screw-down crown, and the brand’s signature personalised plate remains fixed to the left-hand side of the case, now also in black DLC-coated titanium. Flat sapphire crystals protect both sides of the watch, and with a 100m water-resistance rating, the Independence Skeleton continues to offer everyday practicality.

Dialside presents the movement within a structured construction that preserves legibility. The black skeletonised frame features faceted red gold-plated hour markers filled with white X1 Super-LumiNova. The matching faceted hour and minute hands receive the same luminous treatment. The central seconds hand, also red gold-plated, is distinguished by its red tip.

The watch is powered by the Norqain Calibre NB08S (Sellita SW200-1), an automatic COSC-certified movement. Operating at 28,800 vibrations/hour, it offers a 41-hour power reserve. The movement carries the contemporary aesthetic introduced by earlier skeleton models, with angular bridges and dark finishes complementing the overall stealth-inspired design.

The watch is worn on a black rubber strap, available with either a black DLC-coated titanium pin buckle or a folding clasp. The new Norqain Independence Skeleton Titanium is priced at EUR 4,850 on a rubber strap with a pin buckle or EUR 5,180 with the folding clasp. More information at norqain.com.
