It’s official: Patek Philippe is bringing its Grand Exhibition of Watch Art to Italy next year. Milan has been chosen to host the seventh edition of the Grand Exhibition and will open its doors to the public, free of charge, from 2 to 18 October 2026. Marking its seventh Grand Exhibition to date, Patek offers a fully immersive experience and a unique opportunity to get a 360-degree view of the brand’s universe. The largest exhibition ever organised by the Genevan brand, the event will be hosted in Milan’s Palazzo delle Scintille. Collectors take note: the event will also mark the launch of several limited editions.

While nothing can beat a visit to Patek Philippe’s Museum in Geneva, its manufacture or its luxurious Rue de Rhône boutique, the brand’s Grand Exhibitions offer a distilled vision of the company and its multiple facets, all congregated under one roof. Following editions in Dubai, Munich, London, New York, Singapore and Tokyo that have collectively welcomed 165,000 visitors, the 2026 Milan edition will take place in a former sports pavilion built by architect Paolo Vietti-Violi in 1923. Originally known as the Palazzo delle Scintille, it has been renovated and renamed the CityOval. Spread across some 2,540 square metres, the exhibition is divided thematically.

With over 500 timepieces on display, visitors will be able to see the brand’s entire current collection and admire the Rare Handcrafts section with live demonstrations of artisans performing miniature painting, wood marquetry, gem-setting, cloisonné enamel, guilloché, and more. Furthermore, historic timepieces from the Patek Philippe Museum’s Antique Collection (16th – 19th century) offer an insight into the manufacture’s rich historical legacy.

For the more mechanically inclined, one room will be dedicated to the vast array of movements designed and built by Patek Philippe over the years, along with a team of master watchmakers demonstrating their skills. A large area set aside for complicated watches will showcase the brand’s chiming watches, including the most complex of all its wrist-worn creations: the Grandmaster Chime.

Although admission is free, all visitors, including infants, are advised to reserve. The booking platform opens on 14 April 2026.
