Presented in 2024, the Biver Automatique is the brand’s vision of a classic 3-hand watch. The collection kicked off with 4 models: two showcasing monochromatic dial-and-case combinations and two from the Atelier Series featuring distinctive stone dials. A few other versions have been introduced since then, and on the occasion of Dubai Watch Week 2025, Biver Watches unveils several references exploring traditional watchmaking crafts such as guilloché, enamelling, gem-setting and new stone dials.

Altogether, 11 different references are unveiled. The first one comes in platinum with an 18k dial combining a distinctive blue sunray finish treatment and Clous de Paris guilloché. The second is in pink gold, featuring a two-tone dial that combines an 18k white gold PD 210 dial with pink gold markers.

Three versions in platinum feature a blue quartzite dial with gold, diamond, or blue sapphire markers. Two versions, also in platinum, are graced by an original lavender jade dial with gold or diamond markers. There is also a rose gold version with a mahogany obsidian dial characterised by a mix of deep black and swirling red and orange hues.

We also get a yellow gold model with an Œil-de-fer dial standing out with veins of powdery black and brown interspersed with flashes of orange, red, and sunflower yellow. Last but not least, two models in yellow gold feature grey or bordeaux Grand Feu enamel dials made with Les Emailleurs de la Cité in Geneva. Strangely, the brand has not provided images, pricing, or technical specifications at this stage.

These new variations of the Automatique retain all the specifications of the classic model: 39mm diameter x 10mm in thickness. The case has angular lugs,  a slightly protruding crystal, and its water-resistance is ensured up to 80m. Inside is a proprietary micro-rotor calibre developed with Dubois-Depraz. Its elaborate architecture and rich decoration include seven bridges, wheels with serpentine spokes, and an array of finishes, including Clous de Paris engraving, circular graining, anglage and polishing. The bi-directional micro-rotor is crafted from 22k gold. It operates at 3.5Hz and delivers a 65-hour power reserve. Its practical zero-reset mechanism ensures precise time-setting.

These new Biver automatique watches come with a calf or alligator leather strap and a pin buckle matching the case material. Folding buckles and a 5-row metal bracelet are available upon request. The price for these new Biver Automatique models starts from CHF 80,000. The detailed price list is provided in the technical specifications. For more information, please visit jcbiver.com.

  1. Nice looking movement, but the front?
Very boring. Why doing so much effort on the movement, and totally forgetting about put effort on the dial…

  2. I appreciate the amount of work done on the movement, but for this outrageous pricing, at least put some effort on the dial! It looks very modest and uninteresting.
