The New Norqain Adventure Sport 37mm DLC & Gold
A compact, unisex edition of the brand's sports watch with a nice contrast of colours.
Still a young brand compared to many of its peers, Norqain continues to expand its collection with its usual blend of sportiness, robustness and Swiss inspiration. Part of the Adventure collection, which ranges from masculine 42mm models to bold chronographs, the newest family member is a compact version with an appealing contrast of colours and materials – you can’t go wrong with black and gold. Advertised as a feminine watch because of its case size, we believe this new Norqain Adventure Sport 37mm DLC & Gold would be equally appropriate for men who want something more restrained.
While its case has been shrunk by no fewer than 5mm compared to the collection’s core model, the 42mm Adventure Sport (note that a 40mm also exists), this new compact model retains all the attributes of its larger siblings. The 37mm case, with a reasonable thickness of 11.5mm, is made of steel and coated with durable black DLC. It features a unidirectional knurled bezel with a ceramic graduated insert, a screw-down crown and a comfortable 100m water resistance. It’s not a true diver, but it has enough sports credentials to live up to its name.
What changes compared to previous editions is the combination of materials and colours, as the black DLC base is paired with 18k red gold for the bezel, as well as red gold plating for the faceted, diamond-cut hands and applied markers. Those are used on a black dial with the brand’s signature pattern inspired by the Swiss mountains, with a time-and-date display – note the black disc on the date. It’s a bold yet rather elegant choice of colours, which is toned down by the use of a casual black rubber strap.
Inside the case, no surprises, as the Adventure Sport 37mm relies on the tried-and-tested calibre N08, a redecorated SW200-1 (a clone of the ETA 2824) with a 4Hz frequency and 41h of power reserve.
Now available from the brand and its retailers and part of the permanent collection, the Norqain Adventure Sport 37mm DLC & Gold will be priced at EUR 3,950, CHF 3,950 or USD 4,350. For more details, please visit Norqain.com.

4k€ for a Sellita, not even COSC-spec’ed. The few accents of gold here and there can’t possibly justify such a clown pricing 🤦♂️
Who helped with the design and pricing, Bremont?
