The New MeisterSinger Special №3 Bright Blue Edition
It's classic and original, German and Swiss, and an eye-catcher.
MeisterSinger has made the single-hand time display its signature design feature, which some might view as limiting creativity. However, this German company has consistently proven otherwise. Since 2001, MeisterSinger has introduced various exciting series that incorporate calendar functions, chiming mechanisms, jumping hour displays, and power reserves, all while preserving the brand’s original spirit. Furthermore, MeisterSinger offers customers a good range of dial hues and variations and isn’t shy about experimenting with bold colours. MeisterSinger captured our attention this August with a pair of classic №3 watches featuring striking bright blue accents.
The new MeisterSinger Special №3 edition consists of a pair of watches, each featuring a stainless steel case with a mix of polished and brushed surfaces. Available in 38mm and 43mm sizes, both models come with a large, easy-to-handle crown. They also feature sapphire crystal on the front and a display caseback made of mineral glass and offer a water resistance of 50m. The 43mm version has a thickness of 11.5mm, while the 38mm model is slightly slimmer at 10.5mm. The lug width is 20mm on the larger model and 18mm on the smaller one.
The black dials of this Special №3 duo feature a 12-hour scale, as customary for MeisterSinger, with white markings that divide each hour into halves, quarters, and five-minute intervals. The hours are marked by contrasting light blue luminous double-digit numerals from 01 to 12. A single long, pointy, bright white hand occupies a prominent position, ensuring clear readability once you get used to deciphering the dial. The MeisterSinger logo is elegantly balanced by the series name – №3 – and the automatic designation, creating a harmonious and functional look.
ETA clones manufactured by Sellita power both references of the MeisterSinger Special №3 edition. The 43mm model is equipped with the SW200 movement, offering a 38-hour power reserve, while the 38mm model uses the SW300 movement, providing 42 hours of autonomy. Both movements operate at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and feature a customized rotor.
The MeisterSinger Special №3 watches come with light blue, velvet-soft vintage saddle leather straps that perfectly complement the dial’s blue accents. These new watches are available as a limited edition (quantities to be confirmed), priced at EUR 2,190. For more information, visit meistersinger.com.
