The New Bremont Limited Series in Partnership with the Royal National Lifeboat Institution

Bremont stays committed to good causes and supports extraordinary people dedicated to saving lives at sea.

Over the years, British luxury watch brand Bremont has distinguished itself by offering diverse timepieces “tested beyond endurance” across the Sea, Land, and Air collections and for having established a solid connection with armed forces. The brand has dedicated a significant portion of its catalogue to special and limited editions, aligning with its commitment to supporting organizations focused on saving lives, preserving the environment, and promoting an adventurous lifestyle. To commemorate the 200th anniversary and acknowledge the remarkable efforts of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), founded in 1824 and credited with saving over 143,000 lives, Bremont has collaborated with this charity to create a limited series that involves Bremont’s popular sports watches – S500, S300 and past SOLO-34, offering a special tribute to the RNLI’s 24-hour lifeboat search and rescue service across the UK and Ireland.

Limited to 200 pieces each, all three watches in this exclusive series prominently feature RNLI branding integrated into their design. Embracing the bold orange and dark blue colour scheme associated with the RNLI, each timepiece boasts a striking blue metal dial with applied Super-LumiNova coated indices and a specially crafted seconds hand, distinguished by its vibrant orange tip.

Above the 6 o’clock mark on each watch, a significant RNLI inscription is accompanied by the notable anniversary date 1824-2024 in orange. Turning these watches over, the caseback proudly exhibits the RNLI flag logo and its inspiring motto, “With Courage Nothing Is Impossible”. The caseback is etched with “200th Anniversary”, and there’s also a water resistance indication and an engraved serial number.

All three watches offer versatility with strap and bracelet options. Choose from vibrant orange or deep blue rubber straps for a sporty aesthetic, opt for the practical elegance of a stainless steel bracelet to wear the S500 and S300 models, or a dark blue leather or stainless steel bracelet for the SOLO-34, whatever aligns with your style.

Bremont S500 RNLI

The Bremont S500 RNLI, a variant of the popular Supermarine S500 with 500m water-resistance, equipped with a helium escape valve, has a stainless steel 43 mm three-piece Trip-Tick case featuring a unidirectional ceramic dive bezel. The case design incorporates a distinctive crown placement at 2 o’clock, a solid screw-in case back, and is topped with a domed anti-reflective, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal that safeguards the blue metal dial within. The dial of the S500 RNLI prioritizes exceptional legibility, showcasing hour indices in the form of baton markers and dots. The central hour and minute hands and the “lollipop” segment of the seconds hand are coated with Super-LumiNova for enhanced visibility in low-light conditions. Other functional elements include a date window at 3 o’clock and a minutes track on the inner ring, which contribute to the overall utility of the dial.

Powering the S500 RNLI is the BE-36AE automatic movement (base ETA) with chronometer certification. The movement is safeguarded against shocks through a specialized mount and delivers a 38-hour power reserve.

Quick Facts – 43mm diameter stainless steel case with unidirectional rotating bezel and helium escape valve – decorated caseback – 500m water-resistance – blue metal dial, applied indices with Super-Luminova – date window at 3 o’clock – polished nickel-plated hour, minute and second hands filled with Super-LumiNova – calibre BE-36A, automatic chronometer (ISO 3519 standard) – 28,800vph – 38h power reserve – hours, minutes, central seconds, date – GBP 3,795 on rubber strap, GBP 4,195 on stainless steel bracelet

Bremont S300 RNLI

The second entry in the new RNLI series is the S300 RNLI, based on the existing S300 dive watch by Bremont. Maintaining the collaborative theme, the S300 RNLI shares a design approach similar to other models in this partnership. However, it distinguishes itself by offering a more compact 40mm case without a helium escape valve and a conventional crown placement at 3 o’clock. This slimmer model has a thickness of 13mm compared to the S500’s 16.5mm and remains a highly capable dive watch with a 300m water-resistance rating. The BE-92AE automatic chronometer movement (base ETA) powers its functionality, ensuring reliable performance.

Continuing the commemorative elements found in the S500 RNLI, the S300 RNLI features a slightly different dial design. Notably, the indices differ, incorporating Arabic numerals at 6, 9, and 12 hours, while the rest are baton-shaped.

Quick Facts – 40mm diameter stainless steel case with unidirectional rotating bezel – decorated caseback – 300m water-resistance – blue metal dial, applied indices with Super-LumiNova – date window at 3 o’clock – polished nickel-plated hour, minute and second hands filled with Super-LumiNova – calibre BE-92AE, automatic chronometer (ISO 3519 standard) – 28,800vph – 38h power reserve – hours, minutes, central seconds, date – GBP 3,295 on rubber strap, GBP 3,695 on stainless steel bracelet

Bremont SOLO-34 RNLI

The final addition is the SOLO-34 RNLI, rooted in Bremont’s earlier SOLO-34 model with 100m water resistance, which is no longer in production. A considerably smaller timepiece with a 34mm diameter, the SOLO-34 RNLI has a polished bezel and a distinct dial design. The slimmer hands, elegant Roman numerals at 3, 9, and 12 o’clock, and smaller dotted hour markers contribute to its unique aesthetic. The date window is positioned at 6 o’clock; although lacking the lollipop tip, the central seconds hand features an RNLI boat livery-inspired orange hue. Unlike the S500 and S300, the SOLO-34 RNLI has an embossed navy leather strap or a steel bracelet.

Quick Facts – 34mm diameter stainless steel case with polished bezel – decorated caseback – 100m water-resistance – blue metal dial with applied indices – date window at 6 o’clock – polished nickel-plated hour, minute and second hands – calibre BE-92AV, automatic chronometer (ISO 3519 standard) – 28,800vph – 42h power reserve – hours, minutes, central seconds, date – GBP 3,195 on leather strap, GBP 3,395 on stainless steel bracelet

To further support the RNLI’s life-saving efforts, 12.5% of each watch sale will be donated to the charity. For more information about the Royal National Lifeboat Institution or to make your donation, please visit rnli.org. For more details about the watches, please visit bremont.com.

  1. Beside the case shape on the diver these look absolutely generic…

  2. Most of what the RNLI does these days is pick up illegal inmigrants in the Channel and bring them to England – a strange thing to be celebrating

  3. Its not the RNLI decision to go its the coastguards, even then there second choice
Also the RNLI have never asked where some one is from before pulling them out of the water.
They stand by no matter what the situation is all lives matter.
