The Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon
Ivory tones soften AP´s modern tourbillon classic.
In recent years, Audemars Piguet has decisively refined the Code 11.59 collection, transforming it into a serious platform for contemporary haute horlogerie. For 2026, the brand unveils a fresh interpretation of the Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon, now with an ivory-toned signature dial and a sophisticated mix of white gold and black ceramic.
The familiar 41mm x 11.8mm-thick Code 11.59 case retains its proportions, while its contrasting materials remain an important feature. The bezel, lugs, and caseback are crafted from 18k white gold, while the multi-faceted case middle is crafted from black ceramic. As with all Code 11.59 models, the complexity of the construction is easy to underestimate, and the finishings include alternating brushed surfaces, polished chamfers, and sharp transitions executed by hand, including ceramic. A double-curved sapphire crystal tops the case.
The dial colour is new, but not the texture. Since 2023, the Code 11.59 signature pattern has become one of AP´s most recognisable modern dial designs. Developed with guilloché artisan Yann von Kaenel, it features concentric circles engraved by hand and enhanced with PVD colouring. Here, the pattern is rendered in a refined ivory tone, offering a softer, warmer expression than the dramatic black onyx version. An azuré ivory inner bezel frames the dial, while a black outer perimeter visually connects to the ceramic mid-case, creating a strong balance. A pink gold rim outlines the flying tourbillon aperture at 6 o’clock; the hands and applied indices match the tone.
The watch is powered by the self-winding calibre 2950, first introduced in 2018 and now a cornerstone of AP´s flying tourbillon offerings. The regulating organ is visible through both the dial and the sapphire caseback. The movement operates at 21,600 vibrations/hour and delivers a 65-hour power reserve. Visible through the back, the calibre showcases refined hand-finishing, an openworked rotor and a clean, contemporary construction in line with the modern aesthetics of the Code 11.59 line.
The watch is worn on a black alligator leather strap, closed with a white gold three-blade folding clasp. The Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon Ivory Dial joins the permanent collection. The price is upon request, but we expect it to align closely with the black onyx variant (CHF 146,700 excl. taxes).
