GIVE AWAY: CJR Watches Airspeed Black

| By Frank Geelen | 2 min read |
CJR Airspeed

And here we go again… a new sweepstake and this time you can win a watch. Not your typical three-hand watch, although it indicates time with three hands. This is a regulator-style watch and it’s from CJR Watches who recently launched their very first watch through Kickstarter. The Kickstarter campaign i still active, however now you can win the black dial version of the Airspeed that we reviewed (see here) for you a few weeks ago.

From a vast number of new brands who launch through Kickstarter, we pick the finest and most interesting, and we felt that CJR Watches, with their Airspeed, came up with a very nice watch that is a bit playful and different. And for the price of $ 329 -the super early bird price- you can own one of these watches that come in either black or beige dial. The Kickstarter campaign runs until Tuesday 12 July, so be fast if you want to purchase it for the early bird Kickstarter price. Or… you can win the black dial version right here!

With our give-away’s we always ask you a few questions. Recently we’ve been asking you about buying watches online, and if you stick to the well-known brands or have an interest in new brands, maybe even Kickstarter brands, as well. This time we’d love to hear more about materials the case and/or strap/bracelet are made off. Until a decade or two ago, watches were made in steel, gold and platinum (although the latter was extremely rare). Later titanium was added to the mix. Now-a-days the mix of materials seems unlimited and even non-metals like carbon, and even sapphire crystal for the case is not completely out of the ordinary. Similar for straps or bracelets: do you prefer a nice alligator leather strap, or are you not shy to wear a rubber strap? Or do you prefer a metal bracelet matching the case material?

  1. This is a stunning looking watch. It is the first time I’ve seen one like it and would be very happy to add this to my small collection.

  2. Looks like a cheap Ressence copy, nothing original about it at all.
