The New Yema Superman Tourbillon Millésime CMM.31
A true tool watch, built for daily wear and even the depths, that still reflects the tradition of French watchmaking savoir-faire.

Yema continues to expand its Millésime Editions with yet another statement piece. The new Superman Tourbillon Millésime CMM.31 takes the brand’s most iconic model, the Superman diver introduced in 1963, and reimagines it as a professional-grade tool watch equipped with a manufacture movement with a tourbillon regulator. Usually reserved for rather fragile dress watches, the tourbillon here is engineered for endurance, combining haute horlogerie finishing with the watch´s genuine diving credentials.
The case of the new Superman Tourbillon Millésime CMM.31 is crafted from Grade 5 titanium, featuring a vertically brushed finish with polished bevels for a clean yet technical appearance. It measures 43mm in diameter and 11.7mm in thickness, offering impressive proportions for a tourbillon-equipped diver. A 2.1mm double-domed sapphire crystal protects the dial, while the unidirectional bezel is fitted with a domed ceramic insert and 0–60 scale with markings at 5-minute intervals, its luminous 12 o’clock marker ensuring ISO 6425 compliance. Water-resistance is rated to 200m, and the screw-down crown reinforces Superman’s credentials as a serious dive instrument.
The dial features a fine-grained texture, with polished steel hands and applied geometric indices filled with Super-LumiNova BGW9 Grade A for maximum legibility. At six o’clock, the tourbillon cage has a luminous seconds hand mounted directly on it. While running seconds is a functional requirement for diving watches, here it is integrated into the architecture of the complication itself.
Powering the watch is the new Calibre Manufacture Morteau 31, developed by Olivier Mory and produced in Yema’s facilities in Morteau, France. Building on the robust architecture of the earlier CMM.30, the CMM.31 is a fully in-house hand-wound tourbillon calibre. Adjusted in six positions, it maintains accuracy between -3 and +7 seconds/day, ensuring near-chronometer precision. Its oversized barrel delivers a 105-hour power reserve, while a reinforced tourbillon cage, non-magnetic components, and carefully tuned shock absorbers enable the movement to withstand shocks of up to 5 Gs, a rare achievement for such a complication.
The CMM.31 features reworked bridges, polished bevels, and decorated wheels, offering a level of finishing that places it in the world of haute horlogerie while staying true to Yema’s utilitarian DNA. The sapphire caseback opens a view into the movement, showcasing both the technical robustness and the refined details of the French-made calibre.
The watch is worn on a Grade 5 titanium bracelet with vertical brushing to match the case. Limited to 100 pieces, the Superman Tourbillon Millésime CMM.31 is priced at EUR 12,000 and will be available for preorder in September 2025.

This watch doesn’t make sense at all.
Am I the only one noticing the misaligned bezel in all the photos? Surely not such a basic QA issue on a €12k watch and just a small issue Denis missed, right? Right??
Also, it must have a unidirectional bezel not a bidirectional bezel right? Definitely not ISO compliant as mentioned if it’s bidirectional.
@EMC – the bezel isn’t misaligned… It’s just rotated one click (sometimes in a rush during a photoshot, we can make small mistakes)
I am skeptical of Yema due to having purchased one of their watches, a Yema Navygraf Heritage in 2019. It arrived without a warranty/registration card so I emailed them and got a message that they had run out of those cards but I could get one later. I emailed more than once after that but never got a response. Later on, after treating the watch well, within the first year, I could not wind it without the crown skipping forward. It does not engage the gears. Something got damaged inside. Yema if you are reading this please can you repair my Navygraf? My order number is 2000, order date 2019-11-12. Contact me here with a response or use the email from order number 2000.
