Expert talk – The Montblanc 2015 Novelties with Anish Bhatt, Watch-Anish – VIDEO

A few days ago, we already sat down with Suzanne Wong from Revolution Asia to talk about the Montblanc 2015 novelties. Truly, this year was great for the German brand as they came with plenty of new watches for the SIHH (Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie). It’s always a pleasure to have the opinion of experts about the watches that we loved and to hear another point of view. Today, we’re interviewing a true star in the watchmaking industry, Mr. Anish Bhatt, the founder and man behind Watch-Anish. Here is his unique view on (some of) the Montblanc 2015 Novelties.

Anish Bhatt could well be nicknamed Mr. One Million, as his Instagram account (@watchanish) counts that huge number of followers. Anish knows about watches, he knows what is cool and what pleases the wealthy collectors, and whatever people say about him, he found the right idea to catch people’s interest for watches – superb photography mixing crazy timepieces, elegant lifestyle and dream luxury objects (cars, jewels or even ladies – that we’re not counting into the object category of course) – more can be seen on his website, www.watch-anish.com.

For these reasons, we wanted to have his opinion of both a watch expert, a lifestyle blogger and a frequent traveler about some of the watches of the 2015 collection by Montblanc. Our editor-in-chief Frank Geelen showed him 3 watches, including the superb Montblanc Villeret Tourbillon Cylindrique Geosphères Vasco da Gama, strapped on his wrist.

As you can see, the watches Anish Bhatt is talking about together with our founder are far from being simple timepieces. The focus on something as practical as traveler’s watches was important considering the usefulness such a complication can have for Anish – and every watch enthusiast that is frequently traveling.
