The Accessible Earthen Summit Nightfall & Moonglow, A Celestial Evolution in Ceramic
Earthen expands its young Summit collection into more expressive, night-inspired territory with aventurine dials and refined details.
Founded in 2025 in Hong Kong, Earthen Company entered the watchmaking scene, offering a combination of modern materials, vintage-inspired proportions, and accessible pricing. Its inaugural alpine-spirited Summit collection of compact ceramic field watches with oversized crowns and clean, legible dials had a strong visual identity, tools designed for outdoor use. Now, with the new Nightfall and Moonglow, the brand evolves the concept. Still using the Summit platform, these new references introduce a more expressive direction.
The Summit case, in black ceramic for the Nightfall and white ceramic for the Moonglow, measures 38mm in diameter and 10.4mm in height. It remains compact and balanced, lightweight and scratch-resistant, designed for everyday wear. The oversized crown now features a purple ring. A slightly revised sapphire crystal with AR coating accommodates the thicker dial construction. The solid case back comes with circular brushing. Water resistance is 100m.
Both the Nightfall and the Moonglow feature striking aventurine dials, surfaces infused with metallic inclusions to create a star-like effect. As light shifts, the dial moves between subtle glow and pronounced sparkle. To highlight this visual richness, Earthen revised the layout, removing Arabic numerals in favour of a cleaner, minimalist, but still very legible, display with enlarged minute and seconds tracks in fully lumed printing. The signature skier motif at 6 o’clock remains, and the 12 o´clock is still marked with a triangle.
Powering the watch is the Miyota 9039 automatic movement, operating at 28,800 vibrations/hour with a 42-hour power reserve. Its no-date configuration keeps the dial symmetrical and uncluttered, in line with the watch’s functional, tool-oriented concept. Each watch comes with two FKM rubber straps in navy blue and grey, durable and comfortable, suitable for active use and daily wear. The interchangeable system allows quick adaptation without tools.
The new Earthen Summit Nightfall and Moonglow are available now through the brand’s website. Pricing is set at USD 1,099 (excl. tax), positioning these models as accessible ceramic watches with a more expressive, material-driven design.
