Discovering the New Watches of Carl F. Bucherer for 2020
Some pretty impressive new models this year for the Lucerne-based watchmaker.
Recently, the MONOCHROME team visited Geneva Watch Days, the main horological event of this year in Europe with more than 15 brands presenting their novelties. From independent watchmakers to established brands, we were able to discover most of the new watches for 2020. Participating in the event was Carl F. Bucherer, the Lucerne-based watchmaker, which unveiled some impressive watches. From the new edition of the complex Tourbillon Double Peripheral to the stealth edition of the Patravi Scubatec, as well as a fresh version of the Manero Flyback on a steel bracelet or an array of colourful TravelTec watches, we show you everything the brand has for collectors this year. To do so, Samir Merdanovic, Head of Manufacture Movement at Carl F. Bucherer, talks us through the novelties.
For the 2020 collection, Carl F. Bucherer has been quite productive, to say the least, with no fewer than four new models. First launched was the classic Manero Flyback watch with the brand’s proprietary automatic chronograph movement, which now comes in a fresh, new attire – great blue dial and a 9-link stainless steel bracelet adding more sportiness to the watch. The brand also updated its high-end watch, the complex Tourbillon Double Peripheral, in a new white gold edition with a superbly decorated movement.
Moving to proper instrument watches, Carl F. Bucherer introduced a stealth edition of its robust dive watch, the Patravi ScubaTec, which we reviewed here. Finally, the brand’s powerful traveller’s chronograph, the Patravi TravelTec, has been updated with four new dials, in bright colours to represent the four seasons. Very bold but also quite cool.
You can discover more about these new models in the video above, and also on the brand’s website here, at www.carl-f-bucherer.com.
