Delbana, founded in 1931 by Goliardo Della Balda, has always delivered classical Swiss watchmaking at approachable prices. The brand launched the stainless steel Della Balda in 2021, later followed by a PVD yellow gold version in 2022, as a tribute to Goliardo and also returned to using mechanical movements. For its 95th anniversary, the brand releases the Della Balda 95th Anniversary Limited Editions, a quartet of watches that revisit its roots while refining the execution.

The time-only model focuses on clarity, balance and restrained vintage cues. Subtle updates in finishing and proportions bring it in line with contemporary expectations. The case measures 40mm in diameter and 11.5mm in height, executed in polished stainless steel or PVD yellow gold, with a slim bezel and a domed sapphire crystal. The closed caseback is engraved with a historic tower motif sourced from Delbana’s archives. Each watch is marked “One of 95.” Water-resistance is 50m.

The dial, available in black or silver, features a sunburst guilloché pattern, with applied arrow-shaped markers and Arabic numerals, with luminous dots, sword-shaped hands for the hours and minutes and the red-tipped seconds hand. A historic Delbana logo at 12 o’clock, a discreet nod to the past, completes the composition.

The watch is powered by the Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement, an alternative to the ETA 2824 that operates at 28,800 vibrations/hour and delivers a 41-hour power reserve.

Offered in four variations, steel or gold PVD cases paired with black or silver dials, the Della Balda 95th Anniversary Edition is worn on a handmade Italian leather strap, available in black or brown depending on the configuration. Limited to 95 pieces per version, it is available for pre-order, with deliveries expected from May 2026.

An accessible take on the dress watch with solid mechanics, the Delbana Della Balda 95th Anniversary retails CHF 825 in steel and CHF 875 in PVD yellow gold. For more information and to make a purchase, please visit delbana.ch.
