A New Trio of Amber-Toned H. Moser & Cie. Exclusive Creations for Bucherer

This time around, it is not the blue but the amber-coloured fumé dials that mark the exclusive set.

Bucherer, the world’s leading watch retailer that recently made headlines when Rolex acquired it, has a history of collaborating with various brands to release exclusive editions, and one signature colour has consistently defined these partnerships – Bucherer Blue. Last year, this theme was showcased in a trio of remarkable timepieces from H. Moser & Cie and included a Tourbillon, a Tourbillon Minute Repeater, and a gem-set Minute Repeater Tourbillon, all adorned with striking blue aventurine dials.

This year, a new set is poised to captivate watch enthusiasts once again. H. Moser & Cie has unveiled its latest collaboration with Bucherer, featuring an exclusive series now distinguished by breathtaking amber sand-coloured dials. The collection includes a time-only Pioneer Centre Seconds and a Pioneer Tourbillon, both limited editions, and an Endeavour Concept Minute Repeater Tourbillon as a unique piece; let’s see how the Buchererer special series tradition of exceptional craftsmanship and design continues.

Pioneer Centre Seconds Amber Sand

Since the 2023 update to the Pioneer collection, H. Moser & Cie. has introduced 40mm cases to the line, and this exclusive Bucherer edition follows suit. As the “sportiest” series in the brand’s catalogue, the Pioneer case – crafted here in stainless steel – is robust, featuring a screw-down crown, domed sapphire crystal, display caseback, and 120m water resistance.

The standout feature is its amber sand dial, with a frosted texture and H. Moser’s signature fumé effect. True to the brand’s philosophy, no logo is on the dial, and the date window has been omitted for a cleaner, more refined look. The faceted, polished applied hour indices taper towards the centre, while the leaf-shaped, slightly openworked hour and minute hands are filled with Super-Luminova. A needle-like central seconds hand with an elegant “eye of the needle” counterweight adds a nice touch of detail. The sloped inner flange is marked with luminous dots next to each index.

Powering the watch is the automatic calibre HMC 200, which operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations/hour and provides a 3-day power reserve. The watch is paired with a perforated khaki rubber strap; it is priced at EUR 15,990 and limited to just 88 pieces. While the model is essentially the same as we have seen over the years with different dial variants, the Pioneer Centre Seconds Amber Sand introduces a new hue to a familiar and beloved design that will appeal to enthusiasts.

Pioneer Tourbillon Amber Sand

The Pioneer Tourbillon, here in Amber Sand version, also comes in a 40mm stainless steel case measuring 12mm thick, including the sapphire crystal. The case features a combination of brushed and polished finishes, with short, characteristic lugs and a slim polished bezel. Its recessed flanks have a striped texture, and overall, the case is identical to that of the Centre Seconds model. The dial carries the same frosted amber sand hue and design details (no seconds hand, though), with the notable addition of an aperture at 6 o’clock to display the flying tourbillon. This modification also alters the layout of the indices. This exclusive Bucherer edition is limited to just 18 pieces, priced at EUR 63,200.

Endeavour Concept Minute Repeater Tourbillon Amber Sand Fumé Grand Feu

The third model in this exclusive to Bucherer series is the most complicated, yet the typical H. Moser & Cie. presentation keeps the brand’s minimalistic philosophy alive. As the name suggests, this watch is housed in the Endeavour case, measuring 40mm in diameter and crafted from lightweight titanium. With its frosted texture, the amber sand-coloured fumé dial is made in grand feu enamel. The dial is free of indices, allowing full focus on the exposed minute repeater mechanism, with a view of the hammers and chimes, accompanied by a tourbillon regulator.

The hand-wound calibre HMC 904 powers this exceptional timepiece, showcasing exquisite hand-finishing and decoration, including the signature double Moser stripes on the plates and bridges, which are visible through the sapphire caseback. Completing the look is a hand-stitched black alligator leather strap. This true marvel of horological craftsmanship is priced at EUR 395,000.
