Certina DS PH200M Blue
Certina has a long tradition of robust watches, incarnated by its proprietary DS concept (for Double Security). A reincarnation of a 1960s model, the DS PH200M was re-edited in 2018 in a retro-styled package. The watch is now enhanced with new looks, top-tier materials and mechanical upgrades… while remaining affordable at CHF 880. The 2020 Certina DS PH200M is equipped with a convex-shaped ceramic insert. It is powered by the automatic Powermatic 80.611 with 80 hours of power reserve.

Hamilton Khaki Field Titanium Automatic
The iconic Hamilton field watch has been modernized with a titanium case and an updated no-date dial. The model is available in two versions: titanium with a grey dial or black PVD-titanium black dial. Turning the 42mm case over, the sapphire case back reveals the automatic Hamilton H-10 calibre with 80 hours of power reserve when fully wound. A superb package offered at a superb price: CHF 950 and CHF 995 respectively for the titanium and titanium PVD versions.

Norqain Adventure Sport Automatic
Designed for active outdoor use, the Adventure Sport is a collection of functional, robust watches with an instrumental look. Its dial that stands out with its distinctive “Norqain” herringbone pattern. Made of 316L steel, the 42mm case is fitted with a rotating bezel. It features a screw-down crown and it is water-resistant to 100m. Visible through the exhibition caseback, the automatic Norqain calibre NN09 is based on the tried-and-tested ETA 2824.

Maurice Lacroix Aikon Venturer Bronze
The ‘Venturer’ was presented in 2019 as an adventure-oriented version of the successful Maurice Lacroix Aikon. This year, the model received new colours and material including this military green and bronze version. 43mm in diameter, the watch is fitted with a unidirectional bezel with a ceramic insert. Water-resistance is rated to 300m / 30ATM. Inside is the automatic ML115 calibre (Sellita based). The Aikon Venturer Bronze is delivered with two straps, green rubber and brown calfskin. An easy change system allows you to change your strap and the personality of your watch in seconds with no tool needed.

Blancpain has just released a titanium bracelet for its iconic dive watch. Robust and functional, this sleek diver will be also a perfect companion on terra firma. With its titanium casing and bracelet, the Fifty Fathoms Grande Date is seriously lighter than its stainless counterparts and comfortable on the wrist. How they justify the prices, are a mystery to me.
I do not know, it is a mystery for me too, but in any case, I would go only for the Certina, you can find it discounted at several places in the internet. I had one several years ago and regret selling it, is a very well made watch and is not as expensive as those other ones…..
I wish these watches weren’t the size of a Buick. Love the Certina but the L2L dimensions exclude me from wearing it.
