The Yema Superman Bronze CMM.10 Returns in Three new Colours
The French brand revisits its bronze Superman with refined gilt dials, updated details and its in-house automatic movement.
Yema adds three new Bronze CMM.10 references to its increasingly capable and diversified Superman collection. While the French brand has explored bronze before through limited series, including a very cool Superman Bronze CMM.10 with a blue sandwich-style dial, these new watches bring updated gilt dials and a trio of glossy colour options. Retaining the compact proportions and vintage-inspired appeal of previous editions, the latest Superman Bronze is available with brown, green or white dials, each paired with an integrated FKM rubber strap.
The new series builds on the familiar Superman CMM.10 introduced with the brand’s manufacture movement. The 300m water-resistant bronze case measures 39mm in diameter, 10.95mm thick, and features alternating vertically brushed surfaces and polished chamfers, creating a distinctly neo-vintage look. The alloy will gradually develop its own patina depending on wear and environmental conditions.
The unidirectional diving bezel is also crafted from bronze, with a circular brushed finish that contrasts with the vertically brushed case. A 60-minute scale and a triangle with a luminous dot at 12 o’clock preserve the classic Superman aesthetic, reinforced by a 2.2mm double-domed sapphire crystal. The screw-down crown bearing the embossed Yema logo and the signature bezel lock are retained, and the sapphire caseback reveals the movement.
The dials are the news. The glossy lacquered surfaces are offered in brown, green or white, each featuring applied gilt-finished Yema logos, raised hour markers and diamond-cut hands, all gilt-coated and filled with Grade A Super-LumiNova, emitting a beige tone in daylight and bright green luminescence in the dark. The hour markers have been redesigned, giving the dial a slightly more contemporary appearance. For those who prefer the earlier versions printed geometrical indices, Superman Bronze CMM.10 editions in black and blue are still available from the brand’s website.
The new Superman Bronze references are powered by Yema’s CMM.10 manufacture calibre, developed, assembled and regulated in the brand’s workshops in Morteau, France. Running at 28,800 vibrations/hour, the automatic movement delivers a 70-hour power reserve thanks to its large barrel. Yema rates its chronometric performance at -3/+5 seconds per day, while the movement is also engineered to deliver improved resistance to shocks and magnetic fields. Its mainplate’s symmetrical design serves as the foundation for the brand’s current generation of manufacture calibres.
All three references are delivered on an integrated FKM Tropic-style rubber strap matching the dial colour, closed with a brushed bronze pin buckle. The new Yema Superman Bronze CMM.10 combines the charm of a bronze dive watch with a modern French manufacture movement, and the trio of new glossy gilt dials gives the Superman another attractive vintage-inspired execution. Priced at EUR 1,890, limited to 1,948 pieces in total across the variants.
