The Zenith Chronomaster Sport Rainbow in White Gold

A dazzling, precious and multi-coloured version of the Chronomaster Sport.

Since it was first presented in 1994, the Zenith Chronomaster has spawned numerous generations and versions. In 2021, the brand unveiled a modern, sporty iteration of this chronograph. Powered by a major evolution of El Primero, its movement stands out by its unique 1/10th of a second display. In just a few years, the Chronomaster Sport has become one of the best-selling lines for Zenith. If it was first presented in steel, we have gradually seen more precious versions of the model, and for LVMH’s Watch Week 2025, the brand unveils an opulent white gold version set with multi-coloured rainbow baguette sapphires.

Over the past years, rainbow gemsetting has become a major trend in high watchmaking and Zenith has adopted this dazzling colour scheme with the Chronomaster Sport Rainbow. Its 41mm white gold case is set with a rainbow palette of 40 sapphires (~3.9cts) punctuated with 10 baguette-cut diamonds (~1ct) to mark the seconds. Also set with baguette-cut sapphires, the black lacquer dial features the brand’s emblematic tri-colour overlapping counters. This new Rainbow Chronomaster Sport is not the first gem-set version of the model; the brand presented a rose gold version with a meteorite dial set with a medley of white diamonds, black spinels and grey and blue sapphires last year. A year before, a rainbow rose gold edition was released by Japanese retailer Yoshida.

The Chronomaster Sport is powered by the El Primero 3600. Presented in 2019, this innovative evolution of the legendary Zenith high-frequency chronograph stands out by its ability to display the 1/10th of a second with unprecedented legibility: its chronograph seconds hand completes a dial rotation in just 10 seconds. Running at 5Hz and delivering a comfortable 60-hour power reserve, it can be admired through the caseback with its blued column wheel and star-shaped rotor.

The Chronomaster Sport Rainbow comes on a 3-link white gold bracelet with a safety folding buckle. Available exclusively at Zenith’s online and physical boutiques, it retails for USD 112,100. For more details, please visit zenith-watches.com.
