The New, Summer-Toned Bulgari Aluminium Chronographs in White and in Blue

A contemporary mix of materials, a sporty appeal, and an undeniable summer-ready outfit.

Since its debut in 1998, the Bulgari Aluminium collection has challenged traditional watchmaking norms by combining lightweight aluminium with resilient rubber. In 2020, Bulgari relaunched the collection with a design that was faithful to the original series and enhanced according to modern technical sensibilities. In 2023, the brand introduced refreshed chronograph and limited edition models, reaffirming the collection´s relevance. For summer 2025, Bulgari expands the Aluminium Chronograph family with two new references: one in white (Ref. 104235) and one in blue (Ref. 104234). Let´s take a look at these fresh new editions.

The new Bulgari Aluminium Chronograph additions maintain the core specifications of the line, lightweight yet robust 41mm aluminium cases, 11.1mm thick, featuring titanium case backs and pushers (DLC-coated black on the blue version) and iconic rubber bezels in either white or blue featuring the double Bvlgari logo. Water resistance remains a practical 100m. What sets these new watches apart is their dial colours: the white edition offers a chic, fashion-forward look, while the blue model leans into sporty contrast.

Ref. 104235 features a matte white dial with snailed white subdials at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock, accented by a red-tipped central chronograph hand. Its hour and minute hands are filled with white Super-LumiNova. The Ref. 104234 brings a deep navy blue dial with similarly snailed blue subdials and luminous hands. Both watches feature large applied Arabic numerals at 12 o’clock, baton-style hour markers treated with Super-LumiNova, a colour-matched date window at 4:30, and a peripheral minutes/seconds track.

Both references are powered by the automatic Bulgari Calibre B381, based on a Sellita SW300 movement with a Dubois-Depraz chronograph module. Operating at 28,800 vibrations/hour, B381 offers a 42-hour power reserve and drives a classic tri-compax chronograph with date. The movement is housed beneath a solid titanium caseback, sandblasted on the white model, DLC-coated on the blue, and engraved with model details.

Each reference is paired with a matching FKM articulated rubber strap in white or blue, with integrated aluminium links and a coordinating pin buckle. The Bulgari Aluminium Chronograph Ref. 104234 (blue dial) is part of the regular collection, while Ref. 104235 (white dial) is limited to 400 pieces. Both are available now through Bulgari boutiques and authorised retailers, priced at EUR 5,300. For more details, visit bulgari.com.
