The Watch Ho & Co. X Zentier Lapis Sauté Mt. Fuji Edition
Watch Ho & Co, a club of watch enthusiasts in HK, releases its second collaboration with Zentier.

We’ve said it on multiple occasions, and we’ll say it again; watch clubs are great initiatives. They allow to fuel the passion for watches, to gather with fellow watch enthusiasts and to increase the knowledge in watchmaking. Basically, it’s all about passion for watches. One of them, Watch Ho & Co (WH&C), is based in Hong Kong and was co-founded by Jackie Ho about 2 years ago with the motto “good vibes only.” Today, the HK-based club unveils its second collaboration with young brand Zentier. Following last year’s malachite edition, we now have the Zentier Lapis Sauté Mt. Fuji Edition, an accessible jumping hour watch à guichets.
Playing on the renewed trend for hard stone dials, Watch Ho & Co. unveiled last year a collaboration with Zentier that was pretty striking, not only in its look but also its display. The Zentier Sauté is indeed an accessible take on the jumping hour complication, executed in the traditional “guichets” fashion – just like the emblematic Tank à Guichets from Cartier, with jumping hour at 12 o’clock and dragging minutes in an arched window at 6 o’clock. The first edition featured an attractive green malachite dial and this second collaboration with the young watch brand Zentier opts for another popular hard stone, blue lapis lazuli.
Lapis lazuli is a rather fascinating natural stone, celebrated for its deep celestial blue that evokes the vastness of the night sky. It is said to foster wisdom, self-awareness and clarity. Lapis lazuli is a semi-precious stone that has been prized since antiquity for its intense blue colour, often combined with pyrite inclusions giving it metallic yellow textures – such as the example you can see here. This deep blue and textured dial is combined with a rectangular jumping hour window at the top, a semi-circular window displaying the minutes in the middle and an applied cartouche with the name of the brand.
This Zentier Lapis Sauté is housed in a compact, vintage-styled stainless steel cushion-shaped case that measures 36mm across (without the crown) and about 44mm in length. It is decently thin at 10.7mm, and the entire case is polished, giving it a dressy, precious feel. The back is solid steel, secured by 4 screws and engraved by the iconic silhouette of Mt. Fuji. Illustrated by Gerald from eight.past.ten, the emblematic mountain was the main inspiration for this second collaboration. Note that the watch is also delivered with an additional see-through caseback.
At the heart of the watch and allowing for its reasonable price is the Seagull ST-1721, an automatic with an additional jumping hour mechanism, beating at 21,600 vibrations/hour and boasting a 40h power reserve. The watch is worn on a leather strap with pin buckle, measuring 20/16mm.
Exclusively available from @watchhoandco and Zentier’s website, Watch Ho & Co. X Zentier Lapis Sauté Mt. Fuji Edition is limited to 88 pieces and priced at USD 1,088. The pre-order period is 24th-25th March 2025.
