The Watch Annual 2020 Edition

By watch lovers, for watch lovers...

| By Frank Geelen | 1 min read |

A while ago, Justin Hast contacted me to ask if he could use a particular photo that was taken by Xavier. Of course, was my answer, but what are you going to use the photo for? And in a few words, Justin described what he planned to do. For those who know Justin, he’s really one of the nicest persons that I have ever come across in all my 49 years on this planet. The scope of the book, the way he put it together, and the 10% for a good cause, that’s all so ‘Justin’ and I immediately told him that we would share this with our readers, hoping he will sell thousands of copies of The Watch Annual 2020

Justin was so kind to film a short video saying something about the book. In short: the first edition is comprised of 750 copies, all hand-numbered, with a total of 72 of the best new watches of this year, photographed by 40 contributors, spanning a total of 172 pages. As Justin says on the website (where you can order your copy), it’s a book for watch lovers, by watch lovers. “The Watch Annual is a reflection of the year in watches, celebrating the best of design and complication — and a reference for years to come.”

Here you can visit the website of The Watch Annual 2020 and buy your copy!

10% of all profits will be donated to Healthcare Workers’ Foundation. Thanks for a lovely initiative, Justin, and I’m eagerly awaiting my copy!

  1. David, Sotiris, thank you for your patience with our delivery issues. It seems that Royal Mail was under incredible pressure — due to Christmas, COVID-19 and Brexit — meaning our international orders took far longer than is acceptable. For the Second Edition of TWA we’ve changed logistic partners and hope this has ironed out the issues our early adopters, such as yourselves, have experienced. Thank you for your support, and we hope that you’re enjoying the book.
