A new version of Brellum’s compact, COSC-certified chronograph, ready to be gifted.
Last year it was pink; in 2026, it’s blue… Brellum continues to refine its compact, modern chronograph and presents a new version of its Duobox 39 ahead of Valentine’s Day. The Duobox 39 Ice Blue Mother-of-Pearl Chronometer 2026 is very much the same as last year’s pink MOP. Still, while the 2025 edition projected warmth, softness, and femininity, this new Ice Blue version shifts the mood, offering a cooler, more contemporary look.
Founded in 2016, Brellum is now known for its low-volume production (never more than 299 watches per year), exclusive direct-to-consumer sales, and a focus on COSC-certified mechanical movements. The Duobox collection has become the brand’s core, recognisable for its piston-style pushers and twin box-shaped sapphire crystals, front and back.
For the new Duobox 39 Ice Blue MOP Chronometer, the 39.5mm stainless steel case retains its brushed case middle, polished bezel and pushers, and a compact 48mm lug-to-lug length. Thickness is 15.3mm, including the two box sapphires (11.05mm without crystals), a necessary trade-off for the dramatic profile and visual attraction they create. Water-resistance is 100m. This is a chronograph designed for daily wear, and the Duobox 39 wears comfortably, despite the thickness.
The Ice Blue mother-of-pearl dial is obviously the news. Naturally iridescent and shifting in tone, it brings a calm, luminous character that works beautifully with the Duobox’s “technical” layout. The classic tricompax configuration offers a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock, a 12-hour chronograph totaliser with integrated date at 6, and small seconds at 9. A pulsometer scale runs around the periphery, and diamond-cut applied indices and hands are filled with Super-LumiNova.
The watch is powered by the Brellum BR-110 movement, based on the La Joux-Perret L110. This automatic, column-wheel chronograph is COSC-certified, runs at 28,800 vibrations/hour, and delivers a 60-hour power reserve. Visible through the rear box sapphire, the movement is finished with Geneva stripes, perlage, has blued screws and a column wheel, and a 4N gold-coated, openworked rotor engraved with Brellum’s logo.
The Duobox 39 Ice Blue MOP is delivered with a stainless steel bracelet and a white calf leather strap to highlight the watch´s versatility and unisex appeal. Limited to 46 numbered pieces, the watch will be available exclusively via brellum.swiss from February 13, 2026, priced at CHF 3,190 with taxes (or CHF 2,950 for export).
