All The New Panerai Models Of Watches & Wonders 2023

This year it's all about the Radiomir for Panerai!

| By Robin Nooy | 4 min read |

While last year was all about the Submersible, Panerai’s robust dive watch collection based on the famous nautical-inspired watch, this year’s focus shifts towards the more formal Radiomir collection. This instantly recognizable design, with its signature cushion-shaped case and wire lugs, receives several very interesting and funky new models in various materials, colours and complications. The collection is expanded with a completely new Annual Calendar, a trio of aged time-only models and a compact and rather elegant 40mm reference. Here we present you the complete rundown of the new collection for Panerai presented during Watches & Wonders 2023.

Panerai Radiomir Annual Calendar PAM01363 & PAM01432

New to the Panerai Radiomir collection are a pair of Annual Calendar watches in Goldtech (PAM01363) and Platinumtech (PAM01432). Both have a 45mm diameter case made using a proprietary alloy that’s harder than traditional gold or platinum. The dials come in either sunburst brushed blue for the Goldtech PAM01363 or burgundy for the PAM01432. The automatic calibre P.9010/AC displays the day and date in a double window at 3 o’clock, with the months on the rotating rehaut. The hands are in gold, with Super-LumiNova inserts. The strap is made from alligator leather in blue (PAM01363) or black (PAM01432) and it’s priced at EUR 40,000 in gold and EUR 90,000 in platinum.

Panerai Radiomir California PAM01349

The California dial is a fan favourite amongst Paneristi, and the new Radiomir California PAM01349 will certainly spark joy to some, but perhaps not to all. It has a 45mm Burnito eSteel case (made from recycled steel), which is artificially aged with a PVD coating. The size is new for the California dial, which comes in a gradient deep green colour with beige Arabic and Roman numerals and blue hands with luminous inserts. The movement is the calibre P.5000, manually wound to deliver a maximum running time of 8 days (192 hours). Worn on a brown leather Ponte Vecchio calfskin leather strap with contrasting stitching and an aged trapezoidal buckle. It retails for EUR 12,500.

Both have a similar 45mm Brunito eSteel case which has been aged artificially by applying a PVD coating. The dial is a sandwich construction in blue or brown dégradé with central hour and minute hands and a small seconds indication. 1. Seriously overpriced is the first thing that comes to mind (and I like the brand, or at least what they use to stand for).
