The Norqain Adventure Chrono Swiss Football National Team Limited Edition
A football-themed version of the Adventure Chrono, with enough playful details to make it an easy pick for football fans.
Hockey first, now football. After earlier NHL and NHLPA editions, as well as the recent refresh of the Adventure lineup, Norqain presents the new Adventure Chrono Swiss Football National Team Limited Edition. Unlike many sports-team watches that stop at a logo or a few colours, this one was actually developed with input from several members of the Swiss national team. The deep green dial takes after a football field, with red accents matching the colours of the team’s home kit. It is still an Adventure Chrono, but done in a way that the red inner bezel and other such football-inspired details make the whole watch look a bit like a football stadium full of Swiss fans in red.
The green and red create a punchy contrast for the dial. There are quite a few details on it, so reading the time quickly can take a moment, but it becomes easy to follow once familiar with the layout. You also quickly notice the usual tri-compax design. The date between 4 and 5 o’clock shows a small Swiss flag in place of the date numeral 26 for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America. With the pressure and excitement of football, the pulsometer scale makes perfect sense, too. The football-shaped small seconds display at 9 o’clock, and the half-time indication on the bezel is also the kind of quirk that can be right up the alley of football fans.
The rhodium-plated indexes and hands are filled with white Super-LumiNova, while the chronograph hands at 3 and 6 o’clock and the central seconds hand are finished with a splash of red. The stainless steel case of the Adventure Chrono Swiss Football National Team measures 41mm across and 15mm thick, with 100 metres of water resistance, a screw-down crown with red lining, and pump-style chronograph pushers. There is a dark green aluminium ring on the unidirectional rotating bezel, and the Norqain plate on the left side of the case still exists. The watch is worn on a stainless steel bracelet with micro-adjustment on the clasp, but Norqain also includes a red rubber strap with a football-inspired texture inside the box.
Powering the Adventure Chrono Swiss Football National Team is the Norqain calibre N19 automatic chronograph movement, based on the Sellita SW500 architecture. This movement runs at 28,800 vibrations/hour and achieves a 62-hour power reserve. Visible through the sapphire caseback, the movement sits behind an engraving featuring the Swiss Football Association logo together with the limited-edition markings. The watch is limited to 260 pieces and arrives in a specially designed presentation box inspired by a football stadium.
The Norqain Adventure Chrono Swiss Football National Team Limited Edition is priced at CHF 4,850. Norqain is also the Official Watch Licensing Partner of the Swiss Football National Teams, and this latest limited edition comes directly out of that partnership.
